okay so i see everyone appreciating percy jackson series . Do you all srslt not see the flaws. They changed everything. I get it anabeth is supposed to be smart but she is still a twelve year old who will get distracted by food and music and that too an adhd person. I am sorry but i dont think you can change it that much maybe they could have just said inspired from the book not an adaptation .The child actors are great but they were too restricted. i could never get the feel of irritation that was between percy and anabeth in starting. All i want to say is they could have done a better job.
P.S. the only extra thing i liked was sally and posideins scene

i'm sick of seeing nesta stans talk about us invalidating her trauma.
i can't name one person who refuses to acknowledge that.
yes she was groomed. yes she was SAd.
but here's the thing:
that doesn't permit her to be abusive.
sjm is peddling this dangerous narrative that not only do victims become abusers, but that it's justified.
refusing to have nesta acknowledge her behaviour means saying it's okay. it doesn't matter if it's explicitly excused or not. not having her confront the abuse she dolled out and explaining it with "oh well she was abused." is excusing it.
sjm destroyed so much of her credibility when she published this horribly written fuckfest of a book filled with retcons about the archerons before and after the cabin and essentially hand waved away feyre's trauma at the hands of her sister because she faced abuse.

For Feyres sanity I pray Bryce never explains to Rhys what a phone is and what selfies are.
Rhys never said he gave feyre the high lady title for feminism or to be the king of women’s right. He said he wanted his mate to be equal with him in everything and that he wanted a Queen. It’s similar to modern monarchs when the spouse of a royal is evaluated in marriage ..so if you think anything other then what’s in the book, you made that up. Period. Can’t hold him or feyre according to things they don’t say

Only in the acotar fandom are there multiple "interpretations" of what happened in the book. Y'all... SJM is not out here writing the most nuanced faerie book in existence with highly complex and ambiguous characters. Some of you simply either don't remember or didn't understand what you read
