EDITABLE REBLOGS NOT WORKING?  WORRY NOT!

so my editable reblogs finally broke.  after doing some 2am digging,  coming up with a redundant solution,  making an  ENTIRE TUTORIAL  for said redundant solution,  and realizing it’s useless,  i’ve got the answer to the problem for everyone.  i’ve joined the xkit support discord server,  and here is what’s been said about the issue so far:

TLDR;  EDITABLE REBLOGS WON’T WORK ON ORIGINAL POSTS,  BUT IT’LL WORK ON REBLOGS WITH REPLIES.  meaning if jane posts a starter and june replies to it  without using editable reblogs,  it’ll create this trail item.  so from then on out,  you can feel free to use xkit’s extension to your heart’s content.

so if you’re getting this issue,  the solution is simple:  DON’T USE XKIT ON THE FIRST REPLY.  yes,  it’ll be ugly,  but everything will be back to normal from there :)

hmm, i’m going to have to say yes, personally. rakan seems like the type of guy who’d easily be incredibly protective of his lover – this is made a little evident in his interaction with xayah in the in-game voice lines? where he says:

and i think that demonstrates his level of protectiveness when it comes to someone he truly, deeply loves? he’s willing to put his life on the line for that person, no matter the circumstance. it’s very much, indeed, a selfless part of him that’s explored more in his star guardian skin. to summarize, though: he’s protective. very protective to the point he’d die for his lover. but, that’s how i see it!

           katarina hardly paid any attention to foreign matters   .   especially not ones without direct concern. as the foul-mouthed demons brought her up on one single rule   :   strength.  above all else.     (   it’s not right. it’s not.  —-   but is she one to stop this vicious cycle  ?   no.   )      so,   the issues of the vastaya were far beyond her influence. they either had the strength to resolve them, or didn’t.

              he's not well versed in this type of thing.     strategizing an attack against a single person is one thing,     but strategizing for multiple people    &    devising an intricate web of plan upon plan sounded much too complicated for him.     there was always the option,     for him,     of simply tiring one out    ;    of course,     when it's an entire kingdom full of troops heavily armed,     maybe that wasn't an option.     his input may not be of the best quality,     due to his own methods of battle contrasting heavily with sylas's,     though an attempt is all that's surely needed.     at least,     he hopes so.
