I may not love the trains how much Sheldon loves them but I'll never let go of an opportunity of a train journey.
I liked it this way better,so posting it again.
How's your Wednesday going so far?

A tough day but it was so good. I slept in afternoon today which is a rare thing for me to do.
Got to know about some people who were bitching about me behind my back and being nice in front of me. We're getting rid of these people in 2022.
A nice Month indeed!

Do you know this feeling when you forgot to do your homework and then in the 10 minutes you have to try to complete it without letting the professor know. So,I went through it today (100% not recommended).
I just read what I needed to know and then i had to explain that to the class. But it went okay, thankfully.

Most of classes got cancelled and it actually doesn't cheer me up at all( earlier it certainly would). Although all of my classes are still online but it still is better than no classes.
Omg omg omg omg
That examiner later asked my professor about my presentation to use it to show her students something like that. imposter syndrome won't let me believe that completely but I'm so soo happy.
Dissertation viva done. It went really well. Examiner also complemented 🥹 toh I guess it's a success.
Next is that conference presentation. I'm confident about that now.

I went to the old college campus recently to collect some documents. These pretty corridors were empty. :'(
Wowww!! That sounds really great. I really find it amusing to think about the person who at first would've thought of learning/ researching about it and then teaching it to others.🤌✨
Hiii i hope you're doing well. Just saw your post about the courses you're taking and I am so intrigued by the 'language acquisition' course. Could you explain what you study in this? Thankyou🫰
Hi, thank you for the ask and sorry for the delay ! ✨
The language acquisition is a course dedicated to study how a child will learn a language.
For this semester, that course is the final one in a serie of three. The first one was focused on the acquisition of a first language (or mother tongue) by a child under three years old. We talked about the formation of the brain and its areas of perception and memory, the influence of the environment and the adults surrounding the baby, how and when the small infant will acquire phonology, morphology, syntax etc …
The second one was focused on children between 3 and 6 years old, so we had a content approaching the lexical explosion, which is the state of life where a child will learn and process way more vocabulary than before (up to ten new words every day but it depends on the child ; whereas before the explosion, the child will only learn 2 to 3 words a week -> but I insist, those are only average statistics). We also talked about how a child learns to read and to write, among other things.
And that brings me to this semester, my class will be focused on the child between 6 and 10, with questions such as may music facilitate language acquisition? how the exercise of narrating a story helps oral expression ?
I hope it was clear enough, please let me know if it wasn’t, I’m not use to describe that class in english!
