Today was my first week at uni and I SURVIVED🎉 never walked that much I swear at some point it looked like an abandoned city, bought a sandwich the size of my fricking head on the first day lol but it was worth it and i started to socialized like a normal person, I deserve at least a chocolate bar for this not even kidding

the way american servicemen (as far as I know) never buckled their fucking helmets because they falsely believed that if they were close to a blast and their chinstrap was fastened their helmet would somehow take their head off. like ignoring the fact that if an explosion is powerful enough to do that ur fucked whether your helmet is buckled or not... gotta remember that these guys were not always that smart
