Duties done at the station:
πΌ Fog Watch
πΌ Mail Check
πΌ Winding of the Clockworks A little bit of an unfortunate situation happened today. It has been windy practically all of last night, and this led to a fairly large tree branch to fall onto the main road towards the station. Thankfully, the telephone lines weren't affected, so I was able to let the Coast Guard know of the situation. It took them a while to arrive and fix what had happened, and I was unable to preform my morning tour. Other than that, everybody is thankfully safe.
It is also the day of Pi, which means that I can eat pie? I was a little bit confused, but one of the people on my tour helped me understand that this is what humans call a joke, a βplay on words.β How do you play with words? I have no clue.
Even though it was more gloomy weather, a nice cup of black tea sure helped as well as a slice of pie made by the local bakery.

Yanshen are so funny to me because Yan Wushiβs supervillain plot to make Shen Qiao evil and spiteful almost barely works but like. Specifically only towards Yan Wushi
Shen Qiao is consistently amicable and peaceful towards people who have wronged him in the past and almost never actively seeks revenge but the literal moment Yan Wushi opens his mouth heβs like βmaybe I should give this person a Head Injuryβ
@saiinomonth
and if we kick all of the catholic girlies out of tumblr, who's going to write the gothic literature fanfiction that will emotionally devastate millions?
I don't know if this is the correct blog or another one of yours for this question. My question is: How do I come up with fantasy animals and plants? Like in video games for example? I can never get creative when it comes to these two things
How to Create Fantasy Creatures/Animals
Writing Worksheet: Fictional Plants
Yup, this is the right blog, haha. Here are some tips to create fantasy creatures/animals from different sources, and a worksheet to help guide you in creating fictional plants, which you can add fantasy elements into. And below are some additional references for inspiration. Choose which ones you prefer to incorporate in your story to help create your fantasy animal/plant:
Types of Animals β List of Legendary Beasts & Monsters
Word List: Animals (1) (2) β Animal Adjectives β Birds
Flightless Birds β Fantasy Creatures β Fictional Monster
Fantasy Character Names β Medieval Beasts (1) (2)
Medieval Plants β Medicinal Herbs β Meat-Eating Plants
Poisonous Plants β Poison Ivy & Poison Oak β Roses
Shade-Loving Plants β List of Flowers β Flower Remedies
Some Ecology Vocabulary
Resources on Creature Design (Wildlife Fact Sheet)
World-Building Template (with sections on flora and fauna)
After choosing your preferred animals/plants to use as inspiration, it is advisable to research more on them for added historical/cultural context if they would be appropriate for your specific story. Hope this helps with your writing!
Feng Xiao and Cui Buqu going after poor Pei Jingzhe:
I saw a women who came up from the floorboards, from the soil beneath the crawl space of my old creaky home. Nude and streaked in grime she crept along the floor, her hands and feet leaving muddy prints that shone in the static television light. She crept to where a father lay sleeping on the stained lumpy couch. He was not my father, but he was a father.
