Ok, I know Donnie is an amazing bean right now but hear me out... DARK ARMOR!Donnie? I canNOT be the only one thinking, “What if one of the turtles got pushed into the dark armor instead?”

im gonna preface this with a statement that i dont mean anything i say in a rude or mean way. i get stuff like this more often than i like and i kind of want to explain how i feel about these topics so they preferably stop being brought up with me. it’s nothing against anyone’s interest in creating aus/working with different fictional themes (so long as they are appropriate in relation to the author’s age/the characters’ ages) but rather just me saying why this makes me deeply uncomfortable and that i’d really rather you discuss it with people who are comfortable with it instead of myself.

i want it to be clear that i would literally rather think of ANYTHING else than any harm befalling donnie. i dont know what previous tmnt incarnations did but i have literally no interest in watching children suffer and im very happy rise has largely stayed away from that. i dont even want to see people in the show talk down to donnie. he’s only 14, he’s so young and like ik some of yall are closer to his age so it’s not so outrageous within your current perspective of the world to imagine these things. when i was his age, i watched and read soul eater and at the time, none of the horribly disturbing stuff that happened in the manga really phased me or seemed innappropriate despite the fact the main characters are 14-15 as well. now, however, it does greatly disturb me that a 15 year old had to witness like. a women be sliced in half or something like that.

please keep in mind im nearly a decade older than donnie now, and i simply cannot look at him the way i used to soul eater characters because i am no longer that age. now i want nothing more than for him to be happy, okay and loved and if the whole show was literally just slice of life comedy with the turtles going to school and doing dumb teen stuff with no serious villains i would probably love it even more because it makes me anxious to think bout dangerous situations befalling a literal child.

on another note, im also really sick and tired of “what if donnie was evil” aus. donnie is a character who many neurodivergent people, including myself, identify with for a number of reasons. his behaviour has always made sense to me, from the very beginning and even through the time where people would ceaselessly say mean shit about his character because they thought he was cold, careless and selfish. he really does love his family and friends a lot, he just has his own way of showing it. it’s been pretty clearly shown that he’s fairly insecure and acts a certain way to try and hide that/compensate for his insecurities. he’s not feelingless and he’s not bad. i hate hate hate to think of characters like him as evil in any way. ESPECIALLY because he’s a child.

sorry this wasn’t the response you were hoping for, but i really wanted to say this so people get why i hate the very idea of donnie being in danger and evil donnie aus so it finally stops getting brought up with me. you didn’t hurt my feelings by sending this to me, nor did anyone who’s commented stuff before. i just would really prefer not to talk about it. i’m all ears for donnie bonding with his brothers/dad/april stuff though!

This kind of reminds me of that time where I dreamt I took over Ninjago with mind control masks.

That was also the moment I realized I was in the lawful evil alignment and why I made nothing but villain Ocs for everything.

It's weird dream story time!

Ok so it started off relatively normal. Lloyd was talking to Misako or whatever and she told him to go investigate this corporation or something like that. So Lloyd goes and meets this random business guy who sells this magic yarn that can do ANYTHING. Like, later on Lloyd used the yarn and it turned into an actual car so yeah this yarn is pretty intense. He gives Lloyd some yarn, but Lloyd notices some extra yarn attached to it and just throws it away.

Later on, Lloyd goes to meet up with Kai, but Kai is acting really weird. Like, he's just talking strangely and talks about how great the yarn is. Lloyd catches on and the Kai attacks him. Lloyd manages to escape and goes to a house that looks just like my grandma's house for some reason. Also for some reason, Cole and Jay are here and they're also acting really strange and eventually attack Lloyd.

Lloyd escapes again and runs into Zane. Luckily, Zane is normal. Eventually the two of them come to the conclusion that the others have been possessed by the yarn or something like that and it's revealed that the little thing of yarn that Lloyd threw away earlier was actually a yarn monster that's been taking over people's minds. And then Lloyd leaves for like, two seconds, and he cones back and Zane is under the control of the yarn monster. (Don't ask where Nya is, she just wasn't here)

And then, I don't know if this was the same dream and my brain just decided to skip ahead or if this was a different dream, but I'm gonna talk about it too.

So all of the ninja are no longer controlled by the yarn, that is if this is the same storyline. Lloyd had to complete this puzzle thing for some reason, but after he does that, the puzzle (which is made up of tiny cakes btw) flies into the sky and turns into one of those mind control screens. The ones with the swirly pattern. Also there's A LOT of other people here, most of them being pokemon.

So the ninja tell everyone to look away, but of course, most of them don't look away in time. The only survivors were the ninja, (minus Nya because for some reason she just wasn't here) and also for some reason Ridge was her so I guesss this is the fusion au timeline? Ok, the other survivors were Pikachu, and KERMIT THE FROG! I was sort of lucid while dreaming this and I just died when I saw Kermit.

I think I woke up shortly after that but dang that was a wild ride.
