This poem, If We Must Die by Claude McKay was written during the Red Summer, 1919. It has since been adopted to represent many groups facing persecution. I pair it here with a field of poppies and a faint keffiyeh pattern, emblematic of the Palestinian struggle. I may make a more elaborate version in the future, I have some ideas. For now, this is available on stickers, shirts, prints, etc.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from this are for my Palestinian best friend, to help his girlfriend afford to join him safely in America and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. You can find this design here. All designs here. By the way you can change the color on the shirts if you don't like the white background.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed!
I put my three pixel art characters together for a sticker pack along with a handful of smaller designs. It can be found here.
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from my work are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
You can find my full shop here. Each design is available on a lot of different products besides the default Redbubble shows you, click on each product or click on "explore designs" to see more options.
Here's a handful of other stuff I have:
I've got a new pop art, Warholesque version of the bottom left one that should be published tomorrow so keep an eye out for a post on that.
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far!
I want to share how one of my favorite stickers from my fundraising shop looks after printing (sorry the photo is a little poorly lit). I've bought a bunch of stickers from my shop to test how they turn out and give them to my friends, and I'm quite happy with how well this one in particular tends to print (quality may still vary depending on your local print shops, if your order gets messed up Redbubble should give you a refund or new copies).
As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my Palestinian best friend to help him support his loved ones. I've just been informed that some of the money I've raised has made it through to people he has in Gaza to help them purchase food, I'm very happy to hear this.
I have a new design that's been stuck waiting on approval for a bit now, hopefully I will have it up by tomorrow. For now, here's a sample of my older works. They're available on shirts, stickers, hats, notebooks, pins and all kinds of other things (selection depends on the design):
You can find my full shop here. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. I try to vary between a wide range of different styles so there's something for everyone. I have 146 designs published and counting, I'm going to keep adding as many as I can until my friend's loved ones are all safe. Thank you to everyone who has helped so far!
Thank you so much to whoever bought the Free Palestine black metal shirt a couple days ago, I really enjoy that one and I was wondering if it was ever going to sell! I introduced the friend I am fundraising for to metal and it was a big thing we bonded over so it seems like a fitting design to raise money for him.
You can find this design here. ALL PROCEEDS from my shop go to my Palestinian best friend to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his other loved ones around the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with. You can find all my designs here. Redbubble will display with a random product, click on it to see all product options.
I also have a couple shirts/other things with a simple punk font if that's more your thing:
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out so far, this fundraiser has been working way better than I ever expected and my friend and I are really grateful for all your help. I hope you are all enjoying the art you have bought!
I want everyone to know you all have permission to use my art for your own profile photos, posts, flyers, etc. Crediting me would be great but is not required (I understand if you're making a flyer for an event for example having a bunch of extra text on there can clutter up the design). Any use of my art to raise awareness for Palestine is good! Do NOT sell my work or claim it as your own though (and please credit if someone asks you) and please do not attempt to replicate my products. ALL SALES are for my fundraiser for my Palestinian best friend.
Here are some examples of a few of my designs, Redbubble shows everything pretty low resolution to deter theft so if you want to use something you'll want to copy it from my Tumblr:
My shop is found here and I have posters, shirts, stickers, magnets, notebooks and a ton of other things. Each design is available on a lot of different products besides the default Redbubble shows you, click on each product or click on "explore designs" to see more options.

Here are some of the pins from my fundraiser:
As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my best friend who is Palestinian. The extra income will help him support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
You can find my shop HERE. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. Designs are available on many other products as well (stickers, shirts, bags, magnets, notebooks, etc), and there are many more designs available than just the ones shown above. The Jaffa orange holds a lot of symbolism for the Palestinian struggle. This varietal was developed in Palestine in the 19th century and named for the city Jaffa, where it was first produced for export. It has strong skin and few seeds, making it excellent for commercial use, so it was a major product from the region until the industry declined under British rule and disruption from WWII. Finally the establishment of Israel caused irreparable damage as groves were seized or destroyed by settlers. Israel took over production on seized land but never achieved the same success with the crop, and what remained of Palestine suffered ongoing violence and blockades preventing the industry there from further success. The Jaffa orange has remained a symbol of the Palestinian homeland, most notably in Ghassan Khanafani's short story The Land of Sad Oranges.
This orange with a Palestinian flag for a leaf can be found here on shirts, stickers, mugs and more. ALL PROCEEDS from Palestine related sales will go to my Palestinian best friend to help him bring his girlfriend over to America and to help his other loved ones around the Levant who have been/are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. All designs available here.
I made this flag with old open source art nouveau patterns.
As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my Palestinian best friend to help him support his loved ones. I've recently learned that some of the money I've raised has made it through to people he has in Gaza to help them purchase food, I'm very happy to hear this.
Here are a few sample product photos with this design, all products found here:

A woodcut style dove wearing a keffiyeh over a poppy. The official national flower of Palestine as of 2016 actually seems to be the Faqqu’a iris, but many people will tell you that it's the poppy. Regardless of how official it is (often a vague thing when it comes to national symbols anyway) the poppy is an important national emblem for Palestine. It features the four colors of the flag (black, white, red and green) and is also said to represent blood shed on the land. Honestly I see it used a lot more than the iris (though both are lovely plants).
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from this design are for my Palestinian best friend, to help his girlfriend afford to join him safely in America and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.

For those who haven't seen my posts yet, my best friend (the best person I have EVER known) is Palestinian, and a lot of his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. ALL PROCEEDS from these designs will go first and foremost to helping his girlfriend afford to join him in America safely, and after that helping his other loved ones weather this war.
These two doves with keffiyehs have been my most popular designs so far. Thank you to the customer who bought the latter on a pin today, and thank you to everyone who has contributed so far! These designs (and a bunch more) can be found here. Available on stickers, shirts, pins, prints, etc (click on each to see more product options).
I also have a couple variants on the second dove waiting for Redbubble's approval, I will post those when they appear.
We're hopeful that the ceasefire will mitigate the harm being done to my friend's family going forward. He's already had some loved ones hurt that this money can help so for now I will continue the fundraising (plus we do not feel safe hoping that the ceasefire will last, unfortunately). For now his girlfriend has remained safe and financial planning for her trip here is going okay. Most of his immediate family is okay (extended family and friends not entirely so unfortunately). I will keep these updates somewhat vague to protect their privacy. We greatly appreciate all your help!
Starving grad student running a small Redbubble shop (initially for side income, now for fundraising for my Palestinian friend). Made this blog to share my designs, found here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/fairiedance/shopMy best friend (an absolutely brilliant scientist and compassionate social activist, seriously the best person ever) is a Palestinian grad student studying in America, and a lot of his friends and family are being affected by the genocide in Gaza and the fallout in the West Bank and surrounding areas. I have started selling Palestine related designs in my shop. EVERYTHING I RAISE he sends to his loved ones to help in various ways as the situation progresses.Designs not related to Palestine have been removed from my shop for now (probably for good at this point).
