This is one of the most important skill to learn for beginner witches. Practicing magic and witchcraft tends to attract a lot of positive and negative energies, so it is important for you to regularly cleanse your home to reset the space.Ā There are many different ways of cleansing your home using the 4 elements.Ā
āĀ
šŖļø Start by opening your windows and letting some fresh air in.Ā šŖļø Burn palo santo wood to clear the air and reset energies.Ā šŖļø In a small cauldron, burn cleansing herbs like rosemary or lavender and walk from room to room to disperse the smoke.Ā
āĀ
š§ Clean your floor using a herbal floor wash (rosemary, sage, bay leaves).Ā š§ Make a cleansing spray with salt water, rosemary or lavender.Ā š§ Leave a small dish of Florida water in rooms that need cleansing.Ā
āĀ
š„ If possible, let the sunlight in as much as possible.Ā š„ Inscribe the wordĀ āpeaceā on a candle and let it burn out.Ā š„ Place burnt-looking crystals like smoky quartz and black tourmaline in your entrance as they collect negative energies.
āĀ
š± To cleanse your witch tools, place them on the dirt near your houseplants.Ā š± Use your besom (aka broom) to sweep dust and dirt from your home.Ā š± Finish your cleansing at your entrance door by releasing negative energies back to the earth.Ā
My ancestors have yet to come towards me through my prayers and meditation but my spirit guides are here in full force and are constantly reminding me (444 & 555). Im going to start implementing more daily connections with my spirit guide such as Good Mornings/Nights and offerings of my food. Theyāve been there for me when I feel alone or unprotected and show that they are there for me. Itās crazy to see the difference after opening my communication with them.

In Italy the night between the 23th and the 24th of June is called āNotte di San Giovanniā (Saint Johnās Night) but also āNotte delle stregheā (Witcheās night).
There are many folk traditions connected to this night, most of them involving water and herbs, particularly Hypericum perforatum, also known as Saint Johnās Worth.
One of them is collecting a few herbs and leaving them in a water basin overnight. In the morning one would sprinkle their face with the water in a ritual to ward against sicknesses and the evil-eye.
Itās also said that tonight is a favorable time to collect herbs that will be used inside magic rituals.
