kitten I’ll be honest the finality of everything in this world haunts daddy like a second shadow
I'm gonna throw this theory out here and see how it lives through the upcoming crk updates
I already speculated that each of the Beasts are representing different type of dread: Mystic Flour, for instance, is as creepy as the wraith from the old abandoned castle (or temple) can be – she is someone you're afraid to meet alone in the dark, out of anyone's reach. Burning Spice, on the other hand, is terrifying as the foe on the battlefield can be – someone clearly too powerful for you to stand a chance against, and someone who can and will bring you the long and painful destruction. Now, two other Beasts we haven't met yet, but I imagine they can represent something similar. Since Eternal Sugar represents sloth, I think, their type of fear would be fear to once discover yourself in their situation – bored and tired of life, having nothing to amuse yourself with anymore and dragging everyone around you with yourself. Silent Salt might be similar, but not completely: I imagine, they would represent fear of becoming like them, isolated and completely devoid of any human interaction in one's life, possibly even viewing connections and friendships as lower and inferior to their grandiose self.
Finally, Shadow Milk, whom we've met first and who isn't particularly scary at the first sight – silly and goofy, rather, but not terrifying – I think can represent fear of being someone you're afraid your loved ones could turn into. Giving how he's already betrayed Elder Faerie and stuff akhem-
But that's just my take, I don't know if it turns out to be correct in the end.
Elder Faerie Cookie may not have Legendary status (which he should have, considering his lore), but he sure has the Legendary rarity, because I swear to god it's IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade this man
His soulstones in Town Square and Arena are so rare I had to wait for two months for just ONE, and it was possible to obtain him in gacha only when it was his specific banner. Even I, stuck in the whale hell in the Vanilla server, witness people having 5A Ancients, 5+ Woke Cacao and even 5A Beasts sometimes, but NEVER HIM. He's the definition of a rare Pokémon.
My Roman Empire to this day is a video essay by Emperor Kumquat that I saw a long time ago with analysis of the vehicon troopers from TFP and the evidence that they, in fact, are not mindless drones and have a very real spark to lose and a soul of their own.
Now with taking this into account... why are Autobots so apathetic to their deaths? Are they really so numb that massively killing them is like a real life shooter to them? I mean, it's understandable that the indifference on the battlefield may be caused by the severe war trauma (I'm very familiar with it, even though I'm just a civilian), and the Autobots are severely outnumbered, but even then, why are the vehicons so- haha I wanted to say "dehumanised" in their mind, but you got the point.
Maybe we're all wrong and they're not really conscious, but just have an advanced AI instead of the alive mind? How about their sparks then? Their "instinct" of self-preservation? Pain? I don't know.
Maybe at the end of the day, Optimus is the only one true follower of the Autobot dogma, for better or worse.
I feel so seen
In case you wake up one night and decide to chose violence! Have some blinkies for all of your passive aggressive vampire political needs.
When I was 12 I wrote and almost finished in one of my notebooks a vampire comedy novel about this girl I projected onto, who was a poor peasant from a village at the foot of the Carpathians, and she got so tired of her life that she decided to take advantage of the local legend about a vampire sleeping hundreds of years in the castle somewhere in the mountains (meaning, to rob it and become rich), but then she accidentally woke him up, and, in order to not be eaten, she somehow became his servant. The vampire was at first very confused why he was put asleep for so long in the first place, but then quickly remembered than he was pursuing his goal – to become a daylight vampire and that he almost succeeded, but was betrayed by his previous servant-lover, who put him into tomb, thinking he was dead. Now this girl had to figure out how to escape from the castle (while taking with her as much money and goods as she could), and the vampire had to continue his ambition, planning to use her in some kind of ritual, I don't remember. At the end I wanted them to kiss and decide that «fuck it, it's not that complicated» and start travelling the world – or, alternatively, they would all die in a horrific soul-wrenching tragedy, because 12 year old fanfic writers are dramatic.
That notebook I wrote this into was left at my mother's house and likely was completely destroyed or thrown away, but I still remember the plot... I think. I don't know if I should write and publish it online though.
Sometimes I'm very glad that I deleted Twitter, because TO THIS DAY I've seen people from there hating on Dark Cacao or/and his ships with whomever except PV, branding him as toxic and 😩problematic😩 father.
Now I understand what people mean by saying that media literacy is dead, because they'll be crying to have morally gray characters in CRK but then couldn't handle even obviously good ones like Dark Cacao, who actually IS A GOOD GUY, and his relationships with Choco don't negate this.
And GOD FORBID you show even a mild interest in pairing him with one of the Ancients (except PV) or, gasp, 😱Affogato😱, even though I can bet it was everyone's first thought when he got released and we didn't know anything about the character yet. People be crying for "toxic doomed old man yaoi", but only when it has the room to make it actually not toxic and doomed, because GOD FORBID a problematic scheming bastard does something problematic and betrays everyone's trust, color me shocked. And when they actually have an opportunity to look into one-sided exploitative end-justifying-means relationship they'll eat you alive. I'm not even the biggest fan of this ship, but I had interest in it in 2022 and witnessing the amount of hate on it, I abandoned it on the spot, even though I love character analysis and royal plotting genre (and let's be real, it got so bad not even so much because of the couple of weirdos drawing disturbing stuff about them on Twitter, but because it interfered with fandoms PureCacao fanon. No hate to this ship though, but it is what it is).
can you imagine being a priest like oh put on this collar to show that you’re god’s special little boy. slut
