Magic winter out there

First of all, thank you very much for your great efforts and your many tips. I take everything you wrote very close to my heart, thank you very much. I've already tried to paint with watercolors, but everything is always vague, as you said, because I just didn't have the right paper for it. So I’m going to buy myself a real watercolor sketchbook. I already have brushes and all that stuff, but they are so worn out that I will probably have to buy new ones. I also love to just start drawing in my old little sketchbook without knowing what you are actually doing and at some point a nice drawing will come out. I have already painted a lot on canvas with acrylics and have often oriented myself on videos.

So this thing with Bob Ross or other artists that I can orientate myself on is a very good idea. I often look on the internet to see what I could paint and sometimes I watch videos. I didn't know Bob Ross then, so thank you for this :].

I also got the idea to paint with ink. Not necessarily with colored, but with normal black one. I still have a lot of them.

I also look for the tablet, I don't want to spend that much money because I have to try myself out. (If you know what I mean ;) ) But I'll definitely take a look at this Samsug tablet, because I've already heard that it is supposed to be very good. Thank you in any case, you really helped me a lot. I really appreciate that you made every effort to help me.

Addendum: Actually, my mom just came to my house and told me that she knows Bob Ross. Unfortunately not personally, hehe ;3 But just now I did understand how famous he actually is. HAHAHA, well now I know him too, so.. ;D

Does anyone have any tips for my drawing dream?

Hey you out there :^

I would like to practice my hobby of painting even more than I already do. I love to paint with pen and paper in my old little sketchbook, but I would like to do more now. I would like to paint as beautifully as, for example, heikala or snakequeen7 do it. (I follow them here on Tumblr - what you people are invited to do as well, they paint really magically beautiful ^^) I generally sketch very messy and with a lot of lines and strokes. I have read that Heikala also uses colored ink for painting instead of watercolors. That’s very smart and I think I’ll give it a try. I’m also thinking about starting to paint on a tablet. Because as I said, since I sketch very “messy” it might help to draw on a tablet with a special app and an electronic pencil (idk how that thingies are called :] ), where I can also use special color effects, etc. How do you see it? Do you have any tips and tricks for me? With drawings you simply bring a piece of your imagination to life - you make it a little more realistic. And I would love to be able to do it as well as many guys like me who like to paint and draw in their free time.

Hello there

Hey you! Im Ellie. And that’s my first entry!

Yay! Im very motivated! ...probably too motivated. But I'm just so excited right now to share all the thingies of my mind. Yeah... I don't even know what to say. I have so many ideas and things in my head, but I have no words to describe them. -That... makes no sense. Anyway, as I said, I have so many thingies on my list and if I have no idea what i could tell you, then just do what I want spontaneously. I mean - yolo! You onyl live ones, don't you? ; 3 So I'm happy to pour you the chaos of my head out and tell you what's going on in it when I don't say anything. And I can tell you - there is a lot going on! So if you feel like stopping by, you are welcome to do so. I would be happy. Oh! And one last thing - im really sorry for my bad english, so if you'll find some mistakes, please forgive me for them.

I found a picture that someone apparently was secretly taking of my desk ...

My desk looks a lot like this one. But outside is much more snow, on the windows are frost pattern and I don't have any donuts and coffee mugs on the table ':) And my cat is actually black, but that’s fine ;) I think this picture is awesome and very very beautiful, so I had to share it!

Season of Advent♥

I'm already in such a cozy winter mood! Where inside at dusk you sit in the warm light of the lamp in the old armchair and comfortably cuddled up in a cozy blanket, drink a hot tea or punch and read a thick book. Sometimes you look out of the window next to your Armchair into the thick snow that is outside on the windowsill and in the garden and watch how the dark blue sky gets darker and darker. Then a small blackbird or blue tit run across the snow and leave small tracks in it. And you cuddle up in your warm cozy blanket, sip your delicious tea and bury your nose again in the many letters of the book and immerse back into the story. The only sounds you hear are the soft crackling of the fire in the little carmine and the purring of your cat, who has curled up comfortably on your lap and is enjoying the pre-Christmas mood and silence as much as you do. It rains more and more often

But as soon as evening and finally night comes, the rain turns into thick snow, so the rain cannot win. I find such weather very cosy, because then I can snuggle up in my cozy little house with my cat and read books and drink tea♥

Talking about myself with myself

Hey guys,

Today I want to talk about myself. About my interests and my character. Well ... you have to know, I can't judge myself very well, especially because my self-confidence isn't that great. But I'll try it. ;3 I'm actually a very open minded and happy person. At least I try to take everything positively and keep a clear head - even if that doesn't always work. But I'm a also quiet person. I first look and watch my surroundings and the people around me before I judge and act. I am very attentive and vigilant. This often helps me to understand people in their actions and facial expressions, even if i often only see the eyes. One look is always worth a thousand words. I can also empathize with others and understand why they act or think that way. I have many hobbies and interests - often which many people find boring or uninteresting. Like astronomy and history. But I also love to paint or draw or read books. I am a huge bookworm! I also love to look at old photo albums and old pictures and indulge in memories. It always feels so good, and I appreciate the time I spent with my family and friends even more. I also love Polaroid-Kameras! I think, because you can't take that many pictures with them, you always shoot the most beautiful moments and so the pictures have an unbelievably great emotional value.I'm also very interested in video games - especially story games. Like 'Life is strange' or ‘Sims’.-Yes, guys, Sims is also a story game ;).At least I think so... I love to care for traditions. Just as I love to be with my family. When we're not arguing - but that's human and normal too. I think it's good when you speak your mind openly and stay honest with each other. Even if I'm not always the best role model. Actually, I'm not in a lot of things ... oops ..Well, I'm also a big summer kid because I love summer more than anything! It's just so lively and you can do and experience so many things. Whether a day at the lake, in the garden, on the beach or an evening with friends around the campfire with an unbelievable starry sky above you. But I also love Christmas, the festival of all festivals, where you get such a pleasant feeling like on no other day of the year. You are surrounded by love, anticipation and family, and it feels downright magical. When the gifts are placed under the glowing Christmas tree, the fairy lights glow in their warm light and everything is just so beautiful. By the way... am I the only person who is always so fascinated by the sky?! I mean ... day or night, it's just always so magical. When it is deep blue and black and the stars light up like small crystals or in the morning and evening when it is sunrise and sunset. How the sunbeames are sinking into a lot of red, orange and pink colors and everything blurs like a spilled paint bucket on the sky. In between are the purple glowing clouds. And slowly the sky turns into a starry sky. Even if it’s just deep gray, there is something mystical about it. But there are also days when the sky is so bright-gray, as if the clouds are only very thin, so i always get rainforest-vibes. Wow-that was a lot about the sky xD But what do you think? ;3 I know I'm crazy, but maybe you are too ';D
