its my 21st birthday in a month and i really want to buy a typewriter as a gift to myself and sort of like an “i’m proud of you for making it this far” kind of thing. i’m a writer and a hopeless romantic so i’ve been wanting one for quite some time but i told myself i couldn’t have one until i started writing properly and actually seeing it through. i’m about to reach the halfway mark of my first novel length piece of writing and i’ve also been songwriting consistently for over a year now so i figured i had finally earned it.
anyway the reason i’m posting is because i know almost nothing about typewriters so i have pretty much no idea how to go about buying one. if anyone knows about typewriters and would be able to give me some tips/advice about buying one that would be so so so appreciated !!
no bc i literally came up with an entire anderperry fic idea from listening to this song that i am hopefully gonna write once i finish my current fic
Todd listening to Illicit Affairs and thinking of Neil > Anything my history homework has to offer
is it too much to ask to be laying on the grass reading together before growing tired and crawling into each others arms to drift off to sleep as the sun warms our backs?
anyway, so i made gifs of my favourite parts of dead poets in nyc while procrastinating studying :)
well bestie i’ll let you know when my new fic drops bc thats exactly what it is
i'm going to be honest i physically can't imagine anderperry as enemies to lovers
im sorry but im gonna have to disagree with you on this one. its definitely the opposite
neil prefer evermore and todd prefer folklore. it's just makes sense
just imagining charlie jumping on top of his bed and singing ‘good old fashioned loverboy’ at the top of his lungs
yall their friendship is actually everything
some random bully: [to todd] were you dropped on your head as a child?
todd: bold of you to assume I was held
bully:
todd:
neil:
neil: todd we’ve talked about this
