This is so corny and probably unrealistic but hear me out. I really want jay to get his memories back in small chunks (particularly the bad ones, since I think they carry the most weight, especially for Jay,) but he doesn’t tell any of the ninja abt it bc he doesn’t fully trust they’re real memories and he’s not ready to accept that the others weren’t lying.

I think this would be after restoring his goodness but that’s a lot harder to predict, so I think it would be cool if it was a healing process and also happened over time.

It would be a mix of healing his goodness, but also discovering more and more of the traumas he’s been put through, like he’s supposed to be getting better because of his soul healing, but it’s conflicting with the struggle of gaining his old memories (bad experiences + guilt and all that.)

The good news is I FEEL like Nya's arc is heading in the direction of accepting Jay, I think the Gandalaria talk and even possibly Kai (He's 100% the person "creeping" behind Nya) will allow her to realize that people change, and we have to accept them for who they are. I actually realized this hours ago- But Jay and Nya's arcs are paralleling A LOT to Skybound (except written WAY better). Jay wants to not be associated as a "Ninja" and Nya wants him to be a Ninja, similar to Nya wanting to not be associated as dependent on Jay/Kai, but Jay wanting to be with Nya. I highly guarantee the writers will fix their relationship (I honestly trust them, especially for what they did with the Sci-Pie duo [Arin-Sora]). I just wish we got to see those 2 episodes because mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I am interested. My prediction: Jay and Ras encounter (Jay heads back to the monastery) while the ninja battle (and probably beat) Thunderfang. Nya realizes that she must accept Jay for who he is before/during/after the battle, after some sort of talk with Gandalaria/Kai. However, since Jay is NEVER allowed a feat and Ras is fucking strong as hell, Jay gets absolutely beaten up by Ras in a great fight, as he is essentially on his death bed at the end of the season, leading for Nya to completely breakdown, crying at both his pain and her ignorance.

okay I definitely need to actually watch the episodes properly coz I didn’t even know gandalaria was back LOL . even w arin and sora’s plotline i kinda sped through it. When i tell u I just skipped through and watched the parts that looked interesting. and the parts w jay🙈

BUT ANON U R ON SOMETHING WITH THE SKYBOUND PARALLEL THAT IS SSISOSJJSNEBDHSM. ur a genius. Yes. damn i love that. But yes we know it’ll end well because duh this is ninjago i just hope the way they get to that happy ending makes sense
