You know, as horrible as that Velma show is, seeing everyone online band together and unanimously denounce it is very heartwarming to witness. The internet is a pretty divisive and argumentative place, so watching people across every platform unify against Velma is a refreshing experience to say the least.

As a lifelong Scooby Doo fan, knowing that everyone is in agreement that the Velma show is mean-spirited, unnatural, and wrong definitely feels good.

sorry but having strains of "For Good" sprinkled throughout the soundtrack, particularly during Elphie and Glinda's most important moments - essentially having it be their Theme - was a stroke of genius and definitely didn't rip my heart out every time I heard that little motif

“And Luz, thank you, for being in my life.”

“Looks like we’re gonna be split up again. I feel like I should be used to this feeling by now, but... I still don’t know what to say.”

“Oh. I know what I should have said. I should have thanked them.”

“Eda, King. Thank you, for everything.”

The fact that all three of them had to say goodbye to each other at the end of their respective seasons, resigned to their fate as they thanked them. But it's Luz who breaks the tragic pattern of pain, in this case not being able to say thanks as a goodbye... Only to be able to say it as an affirmation of their bond when they are reunited! Likewise...

"But we're a family! Us weirdoes have to stick together, remember?"

"You have a family already. Go back to them."

"I'm sorry, not this time."

"Weirdoes."

At the end of each season, Luz repeated "Us weirdoes have to stick together" only for a grieving Eda and King to refuse it. But the last time Luz says it, they finally get to return and affirm the bond they taught her.

I don’t think enough people recognize the fact that Luz would ABSOLUTELY be friends with these two if she gave them the chance.

As a fandom I know we love traumatizing Glinda.. (I do too) But we need to start letting her traumatize other people!

Give that Girl a Gun or a Knife!! She would absolutely deck the floor with them!!

Hell make her getting revenge on the people whom traumatized her!!!

grian NEEDS more appreciation for having such good subtitles on his videos. i hardly know any youtubers who have subtitles in their videos other than the auto-generated ones, and grian has custom ones with names AND color coding

One thing I love love love love *love* about the Owl House finale is that they gave Luz's titan form such an evil-coded color palette, and design in general.

I mean, think about it. Blacked-out eyes, a black outfit with bone motifs, eyeliner, fangs, and magic that's either the orange-red of fire or the classic black-with-purple-outline meant to show darkness? In any other show that would be some "evil form" of a protagonist, a dark mirror or something, but in the Owl House she gets to be the good guy while *still* looking dark and edgy. And I can't thank the creators enough for that.

Hell, that's kind of tied into the show's themes, right? I know Belos got all disgusting and goopy by the end, but the Emperor's Coven were all about the stereotypical good-guy colors of white and gold. And even Belos's goop form is the dark green and sky blue that matches Earth more than the isles. But the good side is the one that made a deal with the devil to come back from the dead, blasting the self-righteous witch-hunter to bits with void and fire.

This show is so good, guys. It's incredible.
