i get it when people are like "liking obscure music doesn't make you a better person" but curiosity and curation and seeking new things out are good traits and it makes your life more interesting to have your own little things and the most fun you can ever have is creating a personal canon and defending it with your life

within the next hour, try to find one thing you can do to make yourself more comfortable. adjust the ac, get another pillow, open the window, turn on the fan… move to better lighting, put sugar in your tea… find one thing that will make you feel better and do it.

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.

This is because everything in my life requires work:

maintaining friendships

keeping up with my hygiene

managing bills

making money

remembering my basic needs

sleeping regularly

outputting creatively

All requires some aspect of work for me.

And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.

If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.

If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.

You're not dysfunctional.

You're not incapable.

You're doing your best.

Zelda is right. Return the rights. They're taking off all this shit for tax purposes and so that they don't have to pay residuals but worse than that, for a great deal of projects, they also own the rights meaning these projects can never be available anywhere else.

We need to go back to using sailing ships full time like immediately. Yes it would take longer to get places but the Aesthetic is unmatched
