“i’m in kind of a weird mental place right now” i say, as if there are times when i am not in a weird mental place
I used being on a plane at sunrise as an opportunity to play with my circular polarizer, and got some colorful results.

Your existence is not insignificant, my love. Just because you may not have found your passion yet, it does not mean you have no purpose. Just because all you can manage to do at the moment is getting through a day without breaking down, it does not mean you are wasting your time. Just because you are not doing big things to change the world, it does not mean you are a bad person. You do not need to achieve big things to have meaning in this world, my love. You may feel as if you do not make a difference but trust me, you do. There are so many little things about you that make this world a better place. Your smile can make someone reconsider their choice to give up, your words can make someone finally feel happy again, your gestures can make someone believe in the good again. Even if you feel like you are just a tiny little light on this planet, you are actually the sun to so many people. Your existence matters. You are significant.
Etsy is now forcing shop owners to be part of their ads. We can not opt out.
To anyone who buys from etsy: DO NOT EVER CLICK THEIR ADS
They are rolling out a program where if you get a sale from an ad they put out, they’re taking 12-15% of the profit(probably on top of the like, 5%ish+ they already take). Even worse, if you have clicked an Etsy ad in the last 30 days ANYONE YOU BUY FROM ON ETSY IN THAT PERIOD WILL BE BILLED THAT FEE.
So please, if you see an ad for something you like off etsy, do not click it. Just go on etsy and search for it.
This is somehow worse than what storenvy used to pull.
Please go directly through an artist or see if they have their own storefront (I use bigcartel) instead of purchasing off etsy. And if you must, just please, please, never click an etsy ad.
i am so violently sick of advertising. its everywhere it creeps into every inch of reality that it physically can theres no escape from how invasive it is. cant even rickroll people anymore because theyll just get a 30 second advert for car insurance
please adopt a stoner mentality and stop overthinking things such as the way you acted in a situation or what your voice sounded like to other people or whatever. nobody cares about where you put your hands or how you reacted to social stimuli. please just relax and enjoy yourself for a second.
Could I just say something real quick?
It’s all coming. Whatever you’re starving for, whatever that ache is that stings your bones, it’s coming. The love, the happiness, the adventures, and the creativity that you are seeking, it is all coming for you. Here’s the thing, don’t let your right now get away. The things you find mundane, keep them. Store them in the pocket of your favorite coat like found pennies. They aren’t futile. Do not let them cause you to feel empty and hollow. They are going to be worthwhile. Keep the hunger for what is coming, but please, keep a tight grip on these little ordinary moments that are happening right now, because they – these tiny pieces of this ordinary affair you find yourself in – are the foundation to your extraordinary. And I promise you, if you begin to recognize your right now, you’ll see your extraordinary coming.
thinking about colorful kitchens…………….
you will in fact continue to have acne past the age of twenty
you will eventually hit a point where you start to feel icky inside if you go too long without eating some sort of vegetables
depending on your current level of athleticism/physical activity as well as the kind of activities you did as a kid/teenager, your joints may start acting whack in your twenties, despite what everyone says about that not happening until middle age
eventually you will reach a point where you wonder how you were able to stay up until 3am nearly every night and be perfectly fine the next day (and this moment will come much younger than you expect)
it is much harder to meet new people after you’re done with school than sitcoms would have you believe
don’t let society tell you shit: it is perfectly acceptable to live with your parents after you graduate, there’s no need to be broke and miserable just so you can have some misguided attempt at independence straight out of school
sorry but I am not subscribing to our society's disgusting obsession with youth. when I turn 30 I'm going to be really happy and throw a party and be elated at how much I will have grown by then, the same way I did when I turned 10 and celebrated finally being 'double digits'. When I turn 40 I will be ecstatic. There are good and bad things about every age but there is no way my 20s are going to be the best years of my life because I am still barely getting to know myself. By 30 I hope to be very well-acquainted
