Your existence is not insignificant, my love. Just because you may not have found your passion yet, it does not mean you have no purpose. Just because all you can manage to do at the moment is getting through a day without breaking down, it does not mean you are wasting your time. Just because you are not doing big things to change the world, it does not mean you are a bad person. You do not need to achieve big things to have meaning in this world, my love. You may feel as if you do not make a difference but trust me, you do. There are so many little things about you that make this world a better place. Your smile can make someone reconsider their choice to give up, your words can make someone finally feel happy again, your gestures can make someone believe in the good again. Even if you feel like you are just a tiny little light on this planet, you are actually the sun to so many people. Your existence matters. You are significant.

it can be as small as making a cup of tea with a flavor you like or taking a second to sip on your coffee, really pay attention to how it tastes and the feeling of the warm cup in your hands.

take an extra break at work. take it in the bathroom if you have to, but give yourself that extra time. deep breaths.

get a little snack. something that you might not normally allow yourself.
