Summary: Willard Russell, a war veteran, tries to find peace by settling down with his family. But soon his wife, Charlotte is diagnosed with cancer and Willard does anything he knows possible to keep her alive, leaving his son, Arvin, traumatized for life. A preacher and his crippled cousin tries to run from the law when an experiment goes terribly wrong. A psychologically disturbed couple search for models to capture perfect photos. This is a story of a place full of ignorance, maniacs, blind faith and evil.
My Opinion: I knew I would love this book as soon as I started reading it. I knew this book will leave me scarred mentally. Yet I couldn’t resist the temptation of reading it. The events on this book are terrible. I cannot stop thinking about it. The dark sides of human natures are represented in a breathtaking way. The haunted images followed me all the time. This book is definitely not for any faint hearted person. The characters are very complicated. Some of them are in such a misery, I feel very bad for them. Morally complicated characters always fascinate me. They seem like real human beings. This book contains such characters. I think too much about them and to me they have become real. I usually don’t support violence. I personally think evils can only be defeated by all the positivity like honesty and love. But some cases in the book contradicts my values. It makes me feel like there are some things which are too evil to forgive or let go.
Favourite Character: Though I like almost all the characterizations in the book, I like Arvin more than any other. He has a very tough life and he is brave. I support almost every action of him. He is the perfect example of a brother. Though he is a violent man, he is a caring one too.

Today, I discovered the rap songs “First Love” and “The Last” by Suga (Agust D). And I swear to God, I cried. Never in my life I imagined the lyrics would be so deep and the emotions so raw.
The Last: At first, let’s talk about “The Last”. I have known that Suga had a troubled relationship with his parents. I could only imagine how hard his childhood had been. Hats off to Suga for being too brave to write about such a hard time of his life so vividly.
How he had struggled with depression, OCD and anxiety at such a young age, how his own parents never understood him, how he had self doubt to the point of comparing himself to a monster, how he had survived (I dare say) attempted suicide and finally how he had masked it all out with his cold posture.
Imagine going through such a tough time and confronting it. Including such details about his own life in a song was really brave of him and he had owned all my respect for that. I’m really happy that the song ends with a little bit happier tone where Suga assures us that he is doing okay now.
First Love: Though in the beginning I thought it would be a romantic song about his love life, the first line of it changed that immediately. It was about him falling in love with music which is metaphorically presented by the image of a brown piano.
Music was always by his side and had helped him fight against all the problems. So basically, music was like a coping mechanism for his troubled life. Due to this passion he had found in music he was finally able to overcome every hard situation and became who he is today.
This is probably the best rap song I’ve ever heard in my entire life. It was so beautiful that I cried without any hesitation. Even seeing Suga performing it live on stage, struggling to fight back tears, broke my heart.
I am grateful to Suga for giving us these songs. I really hope he finds peace within himself and live the best life for more days to come.
We want to be in control of our lives. That's why we love shows like "The End of the Fucking World", where teenagers can finally leave their toxic households and go on the run.
Honestly, at first I found the plot stupid. The first episode, too, seemed pretty boring. The only reason I continued to watch was "Alex Lawther". I love him. Like, REALLY, love him. And the more it advanced, the more I liked it.
The best thing about the series is probably the cinematography and the music. They'll make you vibe and chill with it. You'll get some funny feelings too.
"The girl who felt too much and the boy who felt nothing."...The romance was cute. It builded slowly by the time. I appreciate that. It is almost like a modern day Romeo-Juliet. And honestly it couldn't have been better.
Sometimes it's hard to see through other people's eyes. Sometimes we misunderstand our parents. Sometimes we are misunderstood by them. Misunderstanding is a great flaw of life. It's like when life can't find any drama, it makes one.
Overall, the whole series was neat. But I wish they didn't make the second season. Because, though shocking, the ending was one of the best. I'm still gonna watch the second season though. Again, because I love Alex. <3
And also, I think, Alyssa looks super cute...

Fandom: BTS Pairing: Min Yoongi x Female Reader
It seemed like I had one of the worst weeks possible. With loads of work on hand, I barely spend any time with Yoongi for the past few days. Being a workaholic, he didn’t have time for me either.
I was having disturbed sleeps. I would keep waking up every now and then hearing the slightest noise. And again, work for the whole day at a stretch without much scope for a nap.
Today, it was different. I was finally able to had a nice long sleep at night. The one that make you feel refreshed and I dare say, happy afterwards. But the most beautiful part of my morning was waking up. Opening my eyes, the first thing I saw was Yoongi’s smile.
“Slept well?” he asked while gently resting his hand on my head.
I nodded sleepily, an automatic smile coming to my face as his hand ran down to my cheek.
“I was watching you for a while. You were sleeping like a baby.”
“Yeah,” I said, “It was a good one after quite some time.”
“Now, get up quickly. I made breakfast.”
Leaving a soft kiss on my forehead, Yoongi went straight to the kitchen.
