14 BABY but still no funny bios
I have blocked and reported 11 prawn bot accounts in the past 2 weeks, this is ridiculous They don't even have funny bios and my account isn't even a month old, wtf
Just had an idea for a zine where each issue begins with a short description of an original fictional world and each artist has to create something from that world. Whether it’s a grand landscape piece, a scientific article about one of the world’s strange creatures, or a short personal story from one of the inhabitants, every artist would contribute something to the collaborative fiction of the new world.
Okay so I find this important to say in the context of the High Realms lore posts(and upcoming one for Boriasonde)
So A- This knowledge is limited only to the High Realms beings from each realm, and whatever they know is only as much that their creator lets them know. This is pretty irrelevant to Elvaria itself but there are some Tilemgians there, just very reduced in power and they hide out.
And B- You may draw your own conclusions as to who is in the wrong since it's all over the place canonically, but basically it boils down to:
Avaas thought Nix would be fine on his own, Tilisnet and Seclir agreed since they've all been existing for a long, long time and nothing really changes in each Cycle besides civilizations and regular things that don't matter too much in their eyes Nix took this the wrong way because he wasn't involved in the discussion so he thought he got abandoned and that the other three were trying to replace his nothingness with their somethingness to make him permanently disappear He basically made himself disappear and created Civalthax that would fuck shit up Inadvertently made Boriasonde collapse and that caused Tilisnet to disappear to who knows where His people, the Voiskanans, basically have a very skewed view of existence. Nix thinks destruction is how he can restore the old ways. The Voiskanans think destruction is how they'll continue to survive. Basically "everyone forgot about me so I'll make them remember" and "everyone is out to get me and I have to hit them first"
Seclir thinks Nix is just gone like Tilisnet Avaas doesn't want to admit that this was his fault Spaelculans think the same as Seclir because that's all they know too Altersaeans think the abyss is just a natural force because they were lied to by Avaas
Tilemgians though, they know what happened- or at least they remember the feeling of it. Even if their memories are slowly disappearing, their being remembers how it felt. They saw this coming but their memories are fading without their realm, so they cannot properly warn the others.
"The Darkness was once our brother, no longer is it right. This has spelt the end of Time, and the others will soon follow." This is the only message that has come out of the Tilemgians that were able to reach Seclir. He has spread these words to the Spaelculans to ensure this message would not be forgotten in case he were to suddenly disappear as well, but it is cryptic, and no one knows anymore what this was supposed to mean.
By the way this is an incredibly irrelevant note but if someone were to ever talk about the High Realms besides my echo chamber you can really use any pronoun for Tilisnet, Avaas, Seclir, and Nix, like he, she, they, it, xe, etc. The bunch of them are older than the concept of gender by a long shot and don't even look humanoid, I just use he for each of them so there's no struggle to differentiate they(singular, pronoun) and they(plural) when reading.
All life has the drive to evolve, whether they know it or not. Some are fated to lose the race of genetic and intellectual superiority, some never achieve the creation of civilization, and it is debatable whether or not some will ever even achieve sentience.
Some beings are beyond evolution in the High Realms they isolate themselves in, beings that perceive themselves as the closest to the ideal of perfection and thus are stagnant so long as they believe so.
Some beings are the purest form of evolution, elemental beings that can alter the shape and thought of life through assimilation but could be mistaken as mindless to those that fail to understand a simple truth: the purest defiance of fate is evolution.
If the High Realms represent the driving hand of fate, the Elemental Planes represent the breathing will of life.
These elementals, of course, have their own realm, or rather level of existence, that they are born in- physically it is beneath the Lower Realms, but is as deeply intertwined to the other's existence as are the High Realms and Lower Planes, and is (if anything) closer to mortals than High Realms beings are.
The purest of elements are Stellar, Flame, Air, Earth- the first elements that drive evolution before water and nature come forth, and thus these elements are the ones that make up each sector of the planes where the first elementals came.
The planes form as a vast cave system would, the four largest chambers each holding an elemental core, and from these cores do the energies coalesce and birth new elementals into the current Existence.
The elementals, though beings of pure energy, are unstable lifeforms in their first century of existence, and there is a high chance for their forms to separate into core and body.
The body is capable of developing its own core through the energy created by the division, and so it becomes a physical elemental. The core does not develop its own body, but in exchange gains greater intelligence, and so it becomes an ethereal elemental. On occasion, one half may not become an elemental at all and collapses back to a basic energy state that lacks consciousness. Some elements are more prone to splitting compared to others, and some may only form as a specific type by default.
Air is closest to the ideal of formless freedom, and thus they may only become ethereal elementals.
Stars are second closest to the ideal of steadfast perpetuity, and thus they may become both physical and ethereal but have a greater tendency to form as the latter.
Flame is closest to the ideal of mastery through trial, and thus they may equally become physical or ethereal.
Earth is the closest to the ideal of corporeal self, and thus they may only become physical elementals.
The few elementals that remain whole in both physical form and ethereal mind become Potentates that anchor the Planes, voluntarily falling into eternal stasis until their cores burn out to maintain the existence of the realm.
But what of the impure elements that too drive evolution, and what of hybrids of the four?
They do not exist on the Elemental Planes, instead being born upon individual worlds in the Lower Planes and the in-betweens of space.
Some are "natural" in a sense, water and nature elementals while not being true elementals are at least considered half-elementals and naturally come into existence upon worlds with Potential, although they are a sort of byproduct of evolution. Due to this, they can freely choose between a physical or ethereal form.
Some are created unnaturally, being hybrid elementals born from the collision of pure elementals and/or half-elementals. Whether they are physical or ethereal is dependent on the property of the material they resemble, with storm elementals being ethereal and crystal elementals being physical.
All, however, are capable of assimilation and all share the drive to evolve and become greater beings. They seek Potential and to spread their influence, either being born from said Potential or drawn to it from the Elemental Planes.
When a world meets the threshold of Potential either through an event or natural evolution, Elementals will cross into it and fuse with certain mortals to their whim, merging their ideals and thought and spirit and form in order to create an "evolved being".
These evolved beings become almost a separate race from the race they came from, with some being genetically different(or may not even have genes left) and some still having genetic similarity to their original race but difference in ability and appearance, though all will now have a core akin to an elemental's, and so their lives become intertwined with the power of the core and the ability to pass onto the Realms of Death is forfeited.
When the core's energy fades or the core shatters, so will their consciousness, and they too will meet the same fate as an elemental that fails to return to their birthplace should they have one- reversion to their element's base material.
Such was the fate of the Sky Lords of Avianaen that became no more than the passing breeze, and so did the silent Åskorhaia sentries that became stone and Mountainheart.

Will post this weekend
Will it be the completed Boriasonde post? Probably not, I'm at a deadlock at what to write for it and I have two versions.
The other High Realms posts already explain a lot of what happened to Boriasonde and the Tilemgians, so I've been stuck deciding between how the Tilemgians experienced the Tearing of Boriasonde vs what happened to them afterwards.
When the post comes out it'll be shorter than the other three for sure.
Peace was never meant to be forever, and dissatisfaction kept the wounds of the minor wars from healing Flaerna still felt that they were given an unfair amount of land and renewed pushes into Walekrina and Floernian territory, but their efforts in Walekria were significantly held back by the mountain borders King Taknychko of Flaerna is assassinated, with his son Leonnox taking the throne and continuing the war effort Floernia was not so fortunate, and their border forest would be burned away as Flaerna advanced Flaerna's Scorching Council would plan a full scale invasion in secret over the span of a month, planning on enacting it within the first day of the coming month
Zodiana would choose to not get involved so long as their borders weren't intruded upon
A few days before the planned invasion date, King Anodir Zhonal of Zodiana was assassinated, and Zodiana, Floernia, and Walekria would pin the blame on Flaerna Flaerna, in anger, scrapped their invasion plan and declared war on the three kingdoms as they knew they could not prove their innocence to the other kingdoms Föllen Alatsa would not publicly declare their opinion and remain neutral to not be involved in a continent spanning war, and neither would Dalirna Walekria, Floernia, and Zodiana would join up into a military alliance and Walekria and Zodiana would send troops to occupy the Floernian borders to buy time for Floernia to build up troops More kings and queens are assassinated within the span of 5 months, with the list being- King Kolthremor Kelthrom of Åskorhal(leaving it under Queen Vethørigya) Thedeos Helithian of the Heartwood Province of Floernia Atathaeia Eurydine Diravacata of the Pinewood Province of Floernia Oranios Zilizane of the Oakwood Province of Floernia Lithinos Agistechea of the Grasslands Province of Floernia
Queen Verinae Galoris of Zodiana(leaving the throne to newly crowned Salgirtus Tulsier Zhonal)
Empress Zhi'mei Hai-yang of Walekria(leaving it under Emperor Yu'guan Qing-Shi) King Leonnox would attempt to reason with the other kingdoms that there was no feasible way for Flaerna to have assassinated so many leaders in under 5 months, but none of the kingdoms participating in the war believed him Walekrian and Zodianan occupation on the Floernia-Flaerna border ends after 6 months to focus on pushing into Flaernan territory, Floernia has enough troops to start a pushback against Flaerna and reclaim lost land Flaerna being surrounded on three sides with enemies and Föllen Alatsa maintaining neutrality, would seek Dalirna to aid them, guaranteeing protection of Dalirna's land should Zodiana launch an invasion on their shared border, and also assuring that all responsibility of Dalirnan losses would fall onto the hands of the Flaernans Dalirna would accept and believed in the innocence of Flaerna regarding the assassinations After the 2,000th year of war, Flaernans were weakened and a third of the army withdrew and defected, with some surrendering to the enemy kingdoms by offering information for their lives and lodging, and some fleeing to the surface of Föllen Alatsa to hide out The remaining forces would be pressured to continue fighting despite casualties reaching into the hundred thousands on all sides The new King Salgirtus of Zodiana feared that if the war did not end soon, the kingdoms would collapse, and so he travelled to Yūregina in secret, coming across a being(no not a demon I don't have those in Elvaria) along the Violet Rift Islands that offered him the power to end a war in exchange for his remaining lifespan and soul He would agree in desperation, gaining a strange mockery of a crown that sprouted from his head in a ring of bony tendrils and bony wings that could not fly but acted as blades These would mark his pact with the being, and he would return to Elorinar to continue the war, using illusion magic to hide the crown and wings While Floernia, Dalirna, and Flaerna failed to notice his absence, Walekria was more perceptive and viewed it as him doubting his own skill due to his youth, and would thus withdraw from the war, believing he was too young and inexperienced to lead the war and rule his kingdom He would lead the Zodianan and Floernian troops on frontlines and aim for the heart of Flaerna, assigning a separate front to force Dalirna to withdraw from the war from their own heavy casualties, would be successful He would make three more demands to end the war over the years but all three failed, leading to Salgirtus leaving behind forces at towns surrounding Embylviska and journeying alone to sacrifice himself to end the war He would call upon the power of the pact and unleashed a storm of caustic ash and bony blades that caused mass casualties among the Flaernans but avoided the other kingdoms, but the pitch black clouds tinged with red thunder spanned the whole of Elorinar This view would mark the end of this war that would come to be known as the Ember War, with Leonnox surrendering when he came to terms with the futility of the war This war would last for 2,500 years in total, leaving a great many dead or injured and many more living in the shadow of the legacy this war would leave behind -----------------------------------
So besides the war shit is the notes section which is here Yukiosa was discovered around the start of the war via Zodianan expeditions north, but they refused to join the war
Lustarise was discovered by a Föllen Alatsan right around the time Leonnox attempted to convince the other kingdom rulers that Flaerna didn't do the assassinations, but Lustarise didn't want to be known by the rest of the world and forced the Föllen Alatsan into a vow of silence When Floernia was building up troops, Nyaelis was established as a sub-kingdom by the Nynphor, where they offered troops in exchange for some sovereignty Speaking of Lustarise and Föllen Alatsa shit, Lustarise went through a whole ass war of their own during the Minor Wars era, called the War of Shattered Ruby where the Geintori half elves fought to gain some sort of sovereignty of their own. Even up to the Ember War, Lustarise and Geintora(new sub-kingdom) were dealing with how they'd officially divide the caves and allot resources for rebuilding and general living Föllen Alatsa had the Maeliron half elves create their own sub-kingdom called Maeliros Oh yeah and the Minor Wars also had some shit happening in the same time over in Yinorael, as a strange plague was inflicted upon the Yūregians that slowly twisted their forms over time to become monstrous, thus trade between them and the Hikarinians was halted with the Hikarinans fearing the spread of the strange disease to themselves Also with the end of the Ember War, missives from Åskorhal and Jivankova are sent to ask wtf happened, since the storm over Elorinar also covered the Gyvorkal Mountains and was visible from Kavathanar, so yeah they're "discovered" To previous lore post with the other links in it-
A Cycle consists of the beginning and end of an Existence and the nothingness before and after. An Existence consists of the universes and realms that are born and die within it.
This Existence was born with the gleaming light which pierced through nothingness, with that light having brought forth the flow of time as a seemingly endless stream of sand, the tapestry of strings that formed the expanses of space, and the possibility through alternatives that allowed the creation of new branches on the tree of universes. But of course, you've heard the whole story by now.
In that light was a force of creation that stretched throughout all the universes of existence, swathes of iridescent cosmic gas that quickly formed the first stars and planets.
To the beings that lived and remembered many previous Existences, this all came at what felt like the blink of an eye, and this plane that would belong to true life would become known as the Lower Planes.
What distinguishes the mortals from the denizens of the High Realms is what eternity is to them. To mortals, their lives are finite but what comes after is infinite- they have souls that can pass on to somewhere beyond the reach of the High Realms, an existence where there is no end other than when they feel it should end. To immortals, their lives seem infinite but what comes after is nothingness- they lack souls, with their options being to reform back in their home realm and toil once more or cease to exist; an existence where the end dictated to them is the one of all nonliving things.
Those of the High Realms lack a concept of a soul, and most do not understand what one is, save for Nix- but even he does not fully understand the origins of souls and thus can only create imitations of them, false lives that are unstable and lack a true free will.
In the Lower Planes are countless souls of civilizations and species that once or will or do exist, and thus with souls comes a force called "potential". This "potential" gives them the ability to evolve, and some by slim chance become more than mortal, but less than immortal. These evolved beings may have been created through manual evolution, magic, technology, or a fusion with elementals(should the world have them), and some are born through pure chance, but these beings often have the ability to faintly see the threads of Space.
Through these threads do they slip into a space in-between, above the Lower Planes but below the Realms of Death, and here can they thread their own strings into the grand tapestry of existence and create Lesser Realms.
These Lesser Realms are only able to be created in relation to a place in the Lower Planes, such as a city above the clouds or a mirror of the environment reflected by a lake, but some more powerful beings may create a Lesser Realm bound to a unique concept or state of conscious, such as a realm of dreams or a realm that is only accessible to those that understand a fundamental concept of a belief.
As such, some species may consider these evolved beings to be "gods", or at the very least an embodiment of some aspect of their world or civilization.
Lesser Realms are often inaccessible to High Realms beings, but if the location one is bound to or if the concept it relates to is fathomed or influenced by a High Realms being, the Realm can be subject to the influence of a force of creation, such as corruption from the Abyss' nothingness.
These realms can persist after the evolved being dies so long as they willed it, but when they die, the Realm begins to unfurl its "strings", and thus can be destroyed by another evolved being that comes across it.
In the grand Order of this Existence, the High Realms house both outsiders and creators, the clockmaker watching the clock and only reaching down to repair cogs and gears-
To the Lower Realms, the face of the clock is all they perceive, and every atom that composes the face is another world and civilization.
The hands move because Fate dictates as such, and the numbers that are raised above the clock face can observe the space above the face and the movement of the hands.
These numbers are the evolved beings, and with their differing perspective on their place in existence, they may alter the face of the clock ever so slightly to leave a scratch or dent that can slip past the eye of the Creator.
These dents are the Lesser Realms, a miniscule puncture on the grand tapestry of Space, and the way for mortals to alter Creation's truths akin to ants on an endless field.

Hikarina- The Alshaljilan Bloodline and the Tear of the Eclipsed Sun
During the establishment of Hikarina, one of the surviving Solarians' descendants happened to maintain ownership of the Tear of the Eclipsed Sun, an old artifact created during the peak of the Cycelian Empires era that meant to embody the might of Solaris. Inside of it was bits of power from every Solarian that was alive during the time. So they're a descendant of the artifact keepers of that era that were entrusted to keep documents of everything powerful created in the kingdom and also protect those items, but the only thing that their ancestor in particular managed to keep ahold of was the Tear The Tear is powerful enough to allow more sunlight to pierce through the sky filled with debris and more shit starts to fall from the sky, and is also strong enough to create a barrier around the new kingdom of Hikarina to leave it in eternal day. Become of that individual holding control over the Tear, they ended up becoming the leader of the new Hikarinans and would build a central cathedral in what'd come to be known as Arenlia to house the Tear. This individual would also establish the Alshaljilan bloodline, which was the previous ruling bloodline of Hikarina. So that bloodline disappeared during the years right before the Warring Era, with every last one of the 10 members that existed at the time having mysteriously just vanished This created a massive power vacuum of different noble families fighting(not a war just a lot of arguing and bribery) over which would become the next ruling bloodline, and in a century the kingdom went through 5 different families. Eventually the Falisthena bloodline arose out of nowhere(literally no one had ever heard of them) and people got sick of the chaos so the majority of the population ended up following them. The ones that didn't were either threatened to accept the new leadership by others or vanished without a trace
The Falisthena bloodline doesn't suck at leadership so for now they've remained in power and not a lot of people complain about them politically
Jivankova-
Nothing really happens here, but when the Urthalisans came across them, they found the Urthalisans interesting and let them stay, with some people adopting the Urthalisan culture over time. Since then, the Urthalisan culture has changed a lot, but the original Jivankira Elthir culture has endured
Lustarise- The War of Shattered Ruby
This was in the Ember War post but giving a bit more detail
So the Geintori are Lustariseans that absorbed a shard of the core of a crystal elemental by either accidentally touching one thinking it was just a regular crystal on the ground or having a dying crystal elemental assimilate itself to a Lustarisean through merging its core with their heart
When Geintori started becoming a thing, the Lustarisean population basically went from viewing them as regular members of society to something to be researched Some Geintori didn't mind because they were hoping there'd be a way to reverse the process, some felt their personhood(elvenhood?) was violated by the research protocols One of the Geintori that was part of the latter group was Kougyuku-rub(formerly Enshoukei Kougyuku), the brother of the Shin'nyo Apolis'Asuremant at the time Enshoukei Riebuno, with both of them being ruby Lustariseans The Geintori of course got very sick of this very soon and planned a whole revolt to gain some sort of sovereignty to they wouldn't have to deal with this if they didn't want to, so Kougyuku used his leverage as Riebuno's brother to convince the team of researchers on him to let him loose and then went on a spree of freeing Geintori on the research centers A war broke out very quickly in some of the cave chambers and a plot to assassinate Riebuno was created, with Kougyuku volunteering himself to take on the task Riebuno heard of this very soon and turned up at the front lines closest to the capital to duel Kougyuku, with the terms being if Kougyuku wins then Lustarise will allow the Geintori to become a sovereign kingdom, but if he wins then Lustarise will not hesitate to quell the Geintori population with a sound based weapon that'd shatter them all as he had been lenient with them initially The duel happened and it turned out to be a draw, with Riebuno taking a large crystal spear to the heart from Kougyuku's power and Kougyuku shattering into glittering dust and ruby shards from taking on a blast of Riebuno's power point blank(he was not the High Asuremancer for no reason) Honoring the duel's terms but also recognizing that this was a tie, Lustarise would agree to let the Geintori gain partial sovereignty as a sub-kingdom rather than a whole separate kingdom, but threatened that if another war broke out then they'd use the aforementioned sound-based weapon The Geintori would accept as this was better than nothing and would gain part of the Lustarisean cave system to claim as their territory, calling the new sub-kingdom Geintora The war would be named the War of Shattered Ruby in honour of Kougyuku and Riebuno, as agreed by both sides Some shards of Kougyuku still exist, but the amount of him turned to dust means he cannot be reformed and using substitute pieces to replace his missing parts would end up creating an entirely different person. These shards and a fragment of Riebuno's crest are stored in the central building of Geintora and Kangasaki Kyusen respectively
