this is inspired by episode 13 “Strange”

man I need usm remake so bad bc they did Danny so dirty, like in episodes where he suppose be more important character he always ends up not being able to help… I get it we don’t need every character to be strongest and most confident hero ever, but I just wish they spend bit more time exploring his self-doubt, it would feel less like “let’s get rid of Iron fist asap so we can focus more on Spidey…. Again” and it would be kinda nice to see exploration of that feeling of “not being worthy”… also it’s kinda funny bc during watching first 2 seasons I’ve noticed he is probably character of the team with least amount of lines and most amount of failed attack attempts, so they kinda had unintentionally good foundation for developing Danny’s incecurity

If I had to rewrite it, I would definitely choose to go more into his doubts of not being worthy of his power, combined with not fitting in because of how long he was in K’un Lun and not everyone being fan of his wisdoms + hiding his secret identity behind lame excuses (like every one of them lol) and all of this would make it so depressing to watch this sunshine just trying his best… it would make his and Peter’s friendship more valuable since Peter would look past Danny’s weird behaviors and just see him as he is - really kind and always willing to help everyone type of guy

No but like seriously his fist moths as superhero in New York must have been hella awful, not just being new to hero stuff in general but also not knowing his way around, not being used to big city in general and not knowing anyone there besides dr. Strange who I guess he doesn’t meet on daily bases… and also I feel like all members of Spidey’s team are very competitive so I can imagine at fist (before spidey joined shield) they wouldn’t be so friendly towards each other. But I think later on they would become more used to being around each other and since Ava and Sam would became first duo of the team (like spending their free time together and just talking) it would be natural for Danny and Luke becoming bros… and Peter then would be just nice addition to the team

Twst oc!!! This is my Yuu's love interest, because Yuuki is an adult-adult so he can't pursue most of the students anyways but more importantly because I ship the NRC and RSA students together (most of the time)

-28 years old, he's actually worked at RSA before he even attended

-He has a great talent in magic and was secretly appointed by the headmaster to train and become a protector. Ashe takes this order to the highest extent for the students. Some of the RSA students protested against this of course but Ashe carries on anyways, he didn't have anywhere else to go to until Mr. Trein adopted him. For Mr. Trein's safety though, Ashe leaves as soon as he becomes a student

-He has a lot of fashionable clothing that his sisters buy for him but he's too busy to wear them

-Does a lot of laundry and hates it because at least 80% of RSA uniforms are WHITE

-Ashe is an obvious nickname, but his real name Elouan is french for "light", his surname is his birth mother's maiden name and it means Glass(Verre) Moon (Lune). Very fancy yes but Cinderella established dominance by out diva-ing everyone in the room he so it's in character

i love the seats the Specialists have on the ships because somehow they managed to make them look liKE THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS IN THE FUCKING WORLD

that can’t be comfortable, there’s no way in this universe that these seats are actually nice. that’s hard metal, Riven’s literally about to fold himself in half, there’s no way his back doesn’t hurt, what is that sitting position?? wtf???

and the seats are so far away from the panel, and the backrest is so tilted back and it has a weird curve that offers zero support, i-

my guys will have back problems by the time they reach 27 because of these seats, fr 😩🤌🏻

everyone in the magic dimension has magical powers, including the specialists

a lot of fans tend to use harry potter/atla logic in winx club. in those universes not everyone owns magical powers, even though someone in the family does. i don't honestly think it's the case of winx club.

the magical dimension was created by the great dragon who brought life and magic. each planet in particular has their own magical power. so the entire universe is made of magic, right? then why should someone be powerless?? that's why i think everyone has magical powers, simply ppl don't want to use it. (they may attend normal high schools/universities instead of alfea) in general it doesn't make sense to call them humans since they weren't born on the earth. they are all aliens

big example are the specialists which is a weapons based squad. they aren't even actually completely useless in an universe of wizards and fairies! in fact they are pretty helpful in wildland episodes because winx girls can't transform. they are probably a special force, useful in anti-magic environments. so they decided not to use their magic to become good knights. in any case they need to be magical creatures since they can easily cross alfea's barrier (we should talk about this barrier anyway, since they don't deal with humans much who is it meant to be for?? i suppose some animals that aren't fairy animals, who knows)

in general winx club works differently from other magical worlds. in the most of fantasy books characters were born as witches or faries. instead in winx club ppl were born as magical creations who can decide how to use their magic. mirta in fact at first was a witch then she became a fairy.

to sum up winx club shouldn't be compared to other fantasy works because this universe works in a COMPLETELY different way

Codatorta & Riven:

Is particularly hard on Riven to get him to achieve “his potential”.

Does look after the younger man, though: makes sure he always has a place to go to once the school goes on break, invites him for dinner with Codatorta’s family on holidays, etc.

Riven is the only one who doesn’t know that he is Codatorta’s real favourite.

Codatorta & Nabu:

Doesn’t even try to hide how much better he thinks Nabu is compared to his students.

”You all should be more like Nabu” this, “I want Nabu to enrol in Red Fountain, please please please” that

Nabu calls Codatorta “daddy 🥺” jokingly and although the older man yells at him for it, he is the only one who doesn’t get beaten up for name-calling.

Codatorta & Helia:

A very respectful, caring relationship.

Although Codatorta at least tries to appear professional with the rest of the gang, he gives up all pretences with Helia.

C’mon, he has known the younger man since the latter was a kid in diapers. Seen him go through hardships, make mistakes and flourish in spite of them. How could he pretend to be anything but wholly on Helia’s side?

Protective of Helia like a little brother. In turn, Helia cares for Codatorta and looks up to him.

Codatorta & Timmy:

the bemused mentor & the over-achieving, comedically ill-timed mentee.

For a long time, Codatorta dismisses Timmy for one of the rich kids who are in it for the rank and the mantle, and treats him coolly.

Timmy desperately tries to prove himself — but because he is so edge around Codatorta, only makes the impression worse. Amy Santiago style.

Only when Timmy stops caring about Codatorta’s opinion and really comes into his own as a specialist — being his quietly bad-ass, confident self — only then does Codatorta start to respect him.

They don’t speak of the shift in their dynamic, but Codatorta begins to entrust Timmy with more challenging tasks and relies on his insight more.

Codatorta & Brandon:

The tired grump dad & the middle child.

Codatorta does actually like Brandon and thinks he makes for a very honourable specialist

But he hates hates hates Brandon’s clown-assery.

Most of their interactions are Brandon trying to be/being funny and Codatorta punishing him for it (and for the man’s ongoing headaches) with exercises.

Once in a blue moon, they do have sincere moments, where both learn a bit from each other.

Codatorta & Sky:

Some (Riven) might mistake Sky for Codatorta’s favourite, because the older man dedicates a lot of his personal time to teaching & advising the prince.

But this is mostly because Sky is one of the only princes, and heirs to a significant empires at that, under Codatorta’s care - and he wants his charge to become a decent man before he inherits the throne.

So Codatorta tries to make Sky wise, selfless, smart, a leader

But Sky is also stubborn as fuck and is responsible for half of Codatorta’s grey heirs alone — so heck no, he is not the favourite .

so to summarise:

all the interactions between Codatorta and the specialists are, of course, Platonic.
