'Maternity support workers do matter' tiny piece for Midwifes magazine U.K.
Well, adventure time over, for now. NYC exceeded all expectations. The Illustrators 55 opening was an amazing experience. It was super exciting to meet in person some of my favorite illustrators and art directors. Besides the fact it was unbelievably cold- those ten days were the best I've had in a long time. Here's a huge thank you for my host- The magical Keren Katz, a dear friend and a true inspiration. She told me once that dreams were meant to come true. and she was right. I'm back in my lovely little studio in Tel aviv filled with inspiration, and I'm going to be extremely busy for the next few months working on 3 major projects. I'll share more details soon.. One last thank you to NYC and to the wonderful people I met and made me feel at home. (you know who you are!) It meant the world to me.
"Audiobooks and the Return of Storytelling" for NY times Sunday review. Thanks to A.D Aviva Michaelov for this great assignment!
I'm curating an illustration discussion and presentation night called sneak peek! It's happening in Tel aviv next month. Some really talented Israeli illustrators are going to talk about their works ( Rutu Modan, Alon Braier and Ori Toor, shimrit Elkanati and Roni Fahima ) Drop by if you're anywhere near!
An illustrated greeting for the holiday of 'Tu Bishvat', aמ Israeli holiday celebrating the beauty of trees and nature. I created this one for ' אאא ' , a Hebrew type foundry based in Tel aviv, making some great great hebrew fonts. Happy Tu Bishvat everyone! Go hug a tree!
Made this a while ago. ‘The origins of the Hipster’, for Time out Tel aviv.
i have created this illustration for the Tel avivian coffee chain "LOVE EAT" as part of the city's illustration week. The city feels very festive this week and so am i:)
A few months ago I was invited to create a visual assay for the annual 'Tanztreffen der Jugend' in Berlin. I illustrated and wrote about some highlights of my life as an extremely lousy dancer. Thanks to Henrik Adler from GRIPS Theater for the invitation and consultation!
Two spread illustrations i made for Easy jet's "TRAVELER" magazine (For the September issue, but i only got it recently). The piece was about Tel aviv's coffee places who recently became the home base of the city's young and Hip Entrepreneur scene. Who knew!
