Made the mistake of bringing up that needing glasses is a disability on tiktok and people got real mad.

“You can fix it with glasses” yeah, cuz they’re a disability aid? But like, I still have to pay 160 bucks to use my own fucking eyes?

Like, by definition, if your eyes do not work without aid, you have a disability to see.

Having a disability doesn’t automatically put you in what people consider the “disabled” category, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is in fact, a disability.

Me: I dunno how I feel about the Symbolism of Sith eyes becoming yellow, like, it’s really tricky for me to read a-character-becomes-Sith-but-are-still-good-actually fanfic when there’s such a blatant sign that the decision is a bad one. It’s a physical manifestation of a spiritual corruption, evil ruining the beauty that was once there. I can’t image that being handled in such a way as to- Fanfic: Obi-Wan’s eyes become 212th gold. So my favorite Star Wars AU is when the Clones are just a little more than human, in the other worldly sense.

Like, yeah, Anakin's half force, but everyone who goes through ARC training can't die and no one's really sure why, but some asshole just shot Fives in the temple and all it did was make him mad.

And sure, Mace can see shatterpoints, but Commander Fox has eyes the color of freshly spilled blood and once threw a man threw three durasteel walls.

And maybe Obi-Wan is the consummate Jedi, but he's pretty sure he just saw Tup reach through a man, but when he questions Cody about it there's something eerie and ancient in his gaze that Obi-Wan doesn't want to question.
