I MADE AN EDIT FOR THE BIRTHDAY BOY!
I used a doodle of mine, official art, and art by anubis-works(the pixel art) and garbagebird(the side profile)!!
I drew myself in the art style of into the spider verse!
I made a butterfly koi variation of my paper koi lantern. Butterfly koi are type of koi with extra long fins. I’ve always loved how beautiful the flowing fins are and wanted to make one.
Here I’m testing out the first prototype with different led lights. More photos to come as I finalize the designs. These are made from only cardstock, no glue or tape. The scales interlock to hold everything together. I’ll be selling diy kits in the future so you can make your own koi lantern :)
