Illinois

Oregon

Vermont

Washington

Minnesota

New Mexico

Maine

Massachusetts

Rhode Island

Connecticut

Washington D.C.

Additionally, some states have "trans sanctuary" executive orders signifying safety for trans folks seeking healthcare. These states are:

Maryland

New Jersey

New York

Living as a resident in these states means you are protected by state's rights and state government to continue or begin receiving trans healthcare. These laws have been codified in their states so everything has been a-ok'd by their state governments.

I hope western leftists know that standing for a free Palestine is not the end of decolonization. I've seen far too many white leftists who proudly stand for freeing Palestine which is good but then get nervous and apprehensive at the idea of decolonizing the very land they are on. Norway will recognize Palestine but actively tear down Sámi liberation. Liberation for one people means it for us all. If you support Palestinian liberation but deny it for the Indigenous people of the land you're on then you didn't stand for Palestinians or any of us to begin with.

Why is it normalized for students to literally be having a mental breakdown because of how much schoolwork they have to do? My best friend of around twelve years is actually sobbing to me about how overwhelmed she is and how she feels like she can’t do anything because she just can’t focus. I’ve literally never seen her this way before. I feel so bad because I’m not going through the same thing as her but I want to be there for her the way she’s been there for me but don’t know how. I’m trying my best though and hoping it helps. I’m just so sick and tired of these kinds of things happening to people and not being taken seriously.

It will never not baffle me how hard society tries to insist that fatness is an abnormality. The average western woman wears plus size clothing. One of the smallest garments on the scale is called a medium. Most people with anorexia are in the overweight bmi category, yet somehow that's known as "atypical anorexia". Fatness is often labeled the cause of a number of diseases, but there are literally no diseases exclusive to fat bodies. Looking at movies and television, you'd think the world was 98% thin people. It's not.

My point isn't that if it was pretty rare to be fat, fatphobia would be okay. Of course not.

My point is that we're surrounded by all these artificial indicators that fatness is unnatural and uncommon and it's just not true?? Humans are not always thin and we've never all been thin and we're not all meant to be thin. Fat humans are a normal type of human. Fatness is a feature, not a bug.

random happy thought of the day: I really feel like Ikemen Fandom has been the most positive and inclusive experience I have had regarding a fandom. Dunno, I know I'm not the most active when it comes to fandoms, but this fandom just hit differently. People have been so friendly and cool. <3
