I saw a story idea on @lillian-nator ‘s page, prompted by @mcyt-apocalypse-au . I’ve actually never written a fanfic before, so…. idk, I hope you enjoy at least a little. Feedback is super helpful!

The knock at Tubbo’s door was like a crash of thunder, yanking him from his frazzed mind.

“Tubbo?” a voice called, echoing through his little Manberg house - it was Quackity. “You in there, man? You’re gonna be late.”

 Tubbo’s reply was stuttered, his heart thumping faster in his chest as he realized how long he’d been standing in the bathroom now. “O-oh, uh, yeah! I’m fine, Quackity, thanks! Be right out…”

Quackity hesitated. Tubbo could imagine the skeptical frown on the man’s face. “If you say so,” Quackity called before his footsteps disappeared.

Tubbo was never late. But he was late this morning, staring at himself in the mirror. He’d gone to comb his hair, but was interrupted but something.

A pair of stubby, black horns jutting from the top of his skull.
