The Week quoted: ”President Bush calls for superiority over CH.I.K,s”
This is the a real quote, ”The country has found a new ‘Sputnik Moment’ ”. This was when the Cold War was in full swing.It was America vs the Soviet Union (that fell in 1994 from internal conflict) because they put up a satellite and we thought nukes were next. It seemed likely. Not so now, Nuclear Weapons are forbidden in Space, thank you presidents Reagan and Gorbachev. The shock, actual shock, of the US failling behind led to an all out effort to regain footing in ”the Space Race” against China (CH), India (I), and South Korea (K,s), ”CH.I.K,s”.
Actually America has 22 of the world’s top 30 universities and graduates more engineers per capita than India or China, and we will have resentment from third world countries like the Arabs or African nations that may be left behind.
Thankfully, someone thought of an answer, ”CoursEra”. Does ''CoursEra'' sound like ''Crimea'' that’s in the news lately? Is this a Cool War over future billions of third world nations? Interested? Where does Earth’s oceans come from? It is said that comets brought water tot the earth, but look at comets. The comet that was landed on recently is veritably dry. Meteorites hold 22% of water in their rocks. If you seen the video where part of a meteorite is crushed and heated, water vapor forms. Meteorites that formed the Earth brought water in their rocks. You may say comets did the same, but have you thought of the amounts needed? Whatever rocks with that much water did it.
