Use and Abuse of Immediate Food

   The World’s 13 major fishing areas are being over-fished by huge-netted factory ships, beyond capacity. The fish caught 25 years ago were 6 -7 feet long, now they are 2 foot,  not fully grown, not fully able to reproduce. A third of the fish caught are thrown back,  as they are not the target fish to be caught or over the 23% limit imposed upon them by regulatory agencies.

   And in the time between ocean and restaurant,  40% is lost from manufacturing waste and inedible garbage, as well as  bacteria and leftovers on the plate. This “Immediate Food” is not going to be available to the 7.1 billion of us much longer, we will have to lean on time grown food, crops, more as the fish populations decline; in other words, people numbers increase, fish numbers decrease. To grow crops takes time, fresh water, effort and energy. We must learn to do more with less.

U.aS. Election Spending Using his $330 million, I’ll bet Donald Trump sent an SOS to Russia in his seemingly unreasonable rants to the public, ‘asking to be saved’ from Hillary Clinton s “$1.2 billion”, spent on the campaign. Or maybe it was just his support of wife from Slovenia.

CIA REPORTS IN SEPTEBER THAT RUSSIAN HACKING IS INTERFERING IN US ELECTIONS

In September, in a Congressional meet meant to establish bipartisan support in order to stand with the international community against Russian government interference in US elections, as reported by the CIA, President Obama’s had his idea squashed by Mitch McConnell, a seemingly unAmerican act, threatening partisan action. In a check on the government, the media had publicized this with varying results.

My thoughts: Women’s issues

    I know about women’s issues. I’ve been reading about them, today. I knew that women didn’t get the same salary as men, all over. Nobody paid women over men. I knew, but not as much, that there were fewer women in manage-ment than men, but I didn’t know it was their problem. It is. I didn’t know that the big argument that is over abortion was so hotly outspoken and contested. I had answers that may have been old-fashioned and out of date. I think they are. Looking at blogs on Tumblr show there are many diverse issues out there, but nobody covers them all.

    We (yes, men too) need a semi-central point to relay all this from, a single authority to stand up and deliver the speech, to be the tipping point for answers that are hopefully forthcoming, and be a place where new ideas can flow, to and from. If you think this is only a rallying cry for Hillary, it could be,  I agree to that, but so much more is needed. 

    Once again, on Tumblr under “Women’s issues” there are a plethora of stories on the good and the bad that is happening around us today. It is a game changer, and if you put yourself in the catseat and open up to the idea that these things need attention. Just like the current subject of gun control is there, so this should be. Half of the population is covered under the Constitution, equal rights. Like Civil Rights that covers everybody, this subject is related to everybody, everybody is affected and can affect this. Don’t turn away now.
