LEFT-RIGHT

    Righty’s don’t get it. Left & right goes beyond hands. It means brains, and I mean smarts in using the brain. 

     Due to laterilization, the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body along with outer senses, and vice-versa. Outer senses means eyes and ears, sight and hearing controls are switched in the brain.

     It also means resting state. The resting state of lefty’s is the right side, it’s used, and for righty’s, the resting state is the left side. Every day I’ve experienced the quietness (I’m a lefty) of numerous right handed people, and my own “quiet side” has been very busy with righty talk and movements. 

    This is something not generally known, I’ve never seen studies or tests on it, but it is something true and valid. I only wish I would find something like that. I think I will surf right away. I hope I gave you an experience of mine worth reading.

International Space Station

The space station is orbiting halfway between Cambodia and Australia, now! 7:50 am PST, 5/8/17. The ISS weighs 350 tons and orbits at about 100 miles above the Earth. It is traveling at 17,350 miles an hour. Pretty fast for 350 tons. And a remarkable accomplishment for NASA. David Schaedler

Hearing Screening online

    Good luck in finding and online hearing test. I looked at six sites, four of which were hearing aid manufacturers, and none of the tests worked. Each one displayed the test, but none of them functioned. I had to go to an app to find an average test. Some of them didn’t work initially. Two of them were repetitions, so you could fail once, and pass the test by memory three times. 

    Other than going to an audiologist to get your hearing results, you cannot find an even average test, so here you go. Try listening to a rising in frequency tone and noting your ability as it rises. It differs with age and gender, but falls off slowly after 19, more as you get older. 

    I did find one that was fair, but that was for my specific system and app store. 

    One of the tests was for a voice, words,  in a louder and louder background. I though that was fair. You may be experiencing a verbal loss by not hearing parts of some words. My answer was  in Latin and recommendation to see a doctor. Of course, from a hearing aid company! I stuck to the app and hear just fine ... Thanks Tumblr.

dmschaedlersblog turned 3 today!

    I've written about many of my thoughts of different items, but have tried to concentrate on that, not reposting articles someone else has already written. Tumblr is a primarily blog, not a reposting site. It's true that those thoughts come from somewhere, and you could say that they were irrelevant, that I don't say anything, but that would not be my true, factual consideration​s. They hold value, as my opinion. People must learn to value opinions, so I do this. I put my thoughts to transistorized paper. In the future, I hope we will see more of that.
