...Wow. That's not good.
Shit.
*Picks him up with some difficulty and carries him to the nearest infirmary bed.*
You'd better lie down right now, Corvus.
How are you meant to treat people if you die of some illness that you're convinced is nothing?
( @drpercival )
......
tch....
......
and what if-.... agh....
"sits on the chair and rests his head on its back"
....ok, i'm resting.
You're getting blood in my mouth, Corv. Hot
You want a tissue, or to keep bleeding on me? Doesn't matter either way.
Why in hell did I see you climbing and falling off a building earlier? Corvus, i watched you pass out walking to a bed the other day, and you thought you'd scale a castle?!?
( @drpercival )
ahhh, what won't you do for you loved one's? :∆
"Something audibly cracked inside of him" OWWW! ok... maybe not that. damn... i'm too old for this, what was I thinking??... I couldn't even climb the building in my childhood... my brother always made me win those races.... oghhh...
guess I broke my rib when I fell.... how troublesome, i only got well from illness...
Don't worry, I spent about two thousand years planning a mech suit. Dreaming about inventions is quite normal and possibly the best way to come up with new ideas.
This is brilliant. What materials did you have in mind? The obvious choice would be plastic, but depending on the size and structure of models, it may be too flimsy. We could use a metal of some type — that would be both sturdy and rather straightforward to melt down.
Plastics melt at much lower temperatures than metals, obviously, so that may prove to be an issue. It's something to think about. Of course, the materials could be interchangeable.
*soft tapping at his office door*
Doc Percy? I can see the light on under the door, I know you're awake. Do you have a minute? I need someone to talk to for a second-
@dawnlighthours
Yes, okay. Come on in. It's not as though I'm actually busy.
IS THERE ANYONE YOU WOULD DIE FOR
Stanley or Xeno. Nobody else. Though I'd rather avoid dying if possible.
Ah, thank you very much, doctor. You've been incredibly accommodating, so if there's anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask.

...I don't know. I just don't want to see you regretting it, and trying to deal with that.
I was told to check on you. What happened?
( @drpercival )
*She looks at him, new hair cut and dye job, red eyes from crying, actively putting on lipstick like she's going out somewhere*
...was it Wren? Did Wren send you? Look, I'm fine-
Fine.
Stop breaking the equipment. I beg of you.
Heeeeey Doc
Totally random question for absolutely no reason whatsoever ahaha don't look too far into this-
Do, uh. You have any spare mechanical parts I can commandeer? Assuming I actually needed any which I definitely don't I swear I have everything I need down in my workshop and have no plans of raiding your space again any time soon-
(@dawnlighthours)
For goodness sake, if you're going to take things from my workshop, only take what I say you can, and come to get the key from me instead of trying to pick the lock.
There are some things that I don't plan to use soon. A few small motors, quite a bit of insulated wire, a 1L container filled with assorted scrap cogs and similar, and my screw jar. They're not sorted. They're free, so don't complain.
There is also a spare drill you're welcome to take. I don't care if you disassemble it.
Once again, do not pick the fucking lock. I do not want to replace it for the third time.
thirteen was young. it is young. although to be fair, i think that was old enough for you to have done something. did you even do anything in the first place? did you just sit there and let it happen, or watch?
what led to the death in the first place?
You think I didn't try?
Not like it's any of your business, but I couldn't have prevented the accident. It was out of my hands. If you want to blame someone, blame the people who fucked up the footings of that building.
I spent months in her hospital room, asshole. I made her an entire arm. I didn't do nothing.
Well, what's... I assume Stanley's type?
Let’s say you might’ve
Like,
Accidentally made out with someone.
In the name of… science.
And now you’re thinking about it at all hours of the night like a normal, totally emotionally stable person.
again—hypothetically, what would you do?
Asking for a lab partner.
