Unfriendly reminder that (TAAO) BlastSlaught aka on/off is manipulative and unhealthy as hell, I doubt half of the people who ship that have read TAAO with half a brain cell’s worth of understanding or they’re just flat out weird because no way we read the same comic scenes.

Edit; maybe I’m a little hypocritical with some other things I personally ship but at least that stuff can be justified somehow. How can this?

So me and @drivinmyrazorcola were talking and they showed me a picture of what i think are semi-canon human designs of a couple transformers for TFA/Transformers Animated, cool right?

Yeah I thought so as well, like yeah they did make Starscream look stupid as hell but hey! It fits him.

Well I recently came back to this post and noticed after @drivinmyrazorcola had pointed out blitzwing’s design kinda looked like a nazi, so I think, yeah sure it does, but then I look again and.. yeah he does..

Like dude.. The over just style of the clothes, the boots, the deception logo on the side, the should things, hell even the belt and collar of the shirt.

While, it could very well be a coincidence that they made blitzwing have blond hair and blue eyes, with the amount of similarities between his clothes and Nazi clothes, it feels like they intentionally made him the ‘ideal Nazi’.

(Incase you don’t know, IIRC, Hitler and the Nazi party wanted to more or less select people with certain traits they wanted such as blonde hair blue eyes like mentioned above to only have kids)

I LOVE CHARACTER ANALYSES

I don’t talk about character analysis often, but considering I’m writing an anthropology and I haven’t seen anyone talk about this; I don’t see why not. This is all my opinion as well, you’re more than welcome to disagree.

I know people often see Archer to be submissive and subservient but I personally don’t see it that way (although, subservient sure but not entirely.) I don’t doubt that Archer is loyal and devoted to Giovanni, nor do I doubt that Archer was upset at his abandonment. However, there is one panel that sticks out significantly.

Specifically this panel, when Archer is telling who their plan benefits— there are 2 significant factors. He puts both team Rocket and himself before Giovanni.

You’d think if he was submissively loyal he would put Giovanni first in his mind, but that’s not the case. Archer has his own agenda in mind with the attribute that it benefits Giovanni as well; when in reality it does not. I don’t doubt that what he does is for Giovanni’s honor, but I frankly think it’s only for Giovanni’s honor and the notoriety of Team Rocket; not for Giovanni entirely as a whole.

I can explain my opinion more indepth, but I’d rather let it wait for when I finish my anthropology because it would include other manga panels. In the meantime, feel free to do what you will with the panel. And if you disagree, you are more than welcomed too; there is no definite answer after all.
