I hate what christians did to slavic culture and religion. They erased so much of it, deliberately destroyed so many important objects and places of worship. And it didn't only happen in medieval times, it has been happening up to 19TH CENTURY. Un-fucking-believable.

21 Advanced Techniques for Reading Tarot Accurately

Some of my YouTube subscribers comment on how my readings are always to the point. How I never need to pause before interpreting a spread or a card. Maybe it's the two decades of reading. Maybe it runs in the family. Maybe I peek at the cards and rehearse before I start recording. (LOL Who has the time?) Or maybe it's just because I know all these techniques by heart. Hope they help you too.

🍓🍋 Strawberry Moon Slushy 🍋🍓

I was looking into making a beverage for the Summer Solstice when I remembered a drink I had on my birthday and thought I'd recreate it!

This is a strawberry, basil, and mint frozen lemonade but given that I made it with the coming Strawberry Moon in mind, I decided that "Strawberry Moon Slushy" sounds so much better.

🍓🍋 Strawberry Moon Slushy 🍋🍓

This recipe makes about 2 servings.

Ingredients

2 cups of FROZEN strawberries

1 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed)

3/4 cup of sugar

Basil leaves

Mint leaves

1/4 cup of ice

Shot of your fav gin or vodka (optional)

Instructions:

Get your ingredients ready and grab the blender.

Squeeze the lemons. The lemons I used gave me roughly 9 tbs of lemon juice.

Pour in your frozen strawberries, lemon juice and ice. Blend until slushy. If you're adding booze, add it in here. One or two shots depending on your preference.

Add in 3/4 cup of sugar. If you're like me and you love it sour then only do 1/2 cup sugar. You could also substitute sugar for agave or honey, using a few tbs of either and then adding more to taste.

Add your basil and mint to taste. I used four large leaves of each but you can use more or less!

Top it off with a garnish, either a strawberry, a lemon slice, or a mint sprig!

Notes:

If you'd rather use premade lemonade, use 1 cup of lemonade and you can skip the sugar.

You can use this mixture to make popsicles if you have a mold for it!

Fresh mint and basil works best but if you only have dried only use about a 1/2 tsp at first and then add more to taste.

Magical Associations:

This is a great drink for the Summer solstice because the following full moon the next day is called the Strawberry Moon! This would be a great spell for self-love or attraction.

Tip: Imbue your beverage with magic and create a drinkable spell!

Strawberries are associated with love, good luck, and fortune.

Basil is associated with wealth and prosperity.

Mint is associated with abundance and healing.

Lemons are associated with the sun, happiness, and cleansing.

you ever feel like you're struggling to be conscious in this life? like you're trying so hard to feel the world around you, not just see it and look at things like it's all just a picture? i find it so hard to truly grasp onto and appreciate a moment while i'm in it. it's almost as if appreciation is on another level of consciousness that i know exists, yet can't achieve

As a disabled person, I'm telling you right now:

Act disabled.

Stop telling yourself you're acting more disabled than you are.

Crawl to clean your room, use a wheelchair when you're "only" at level 3 pain, wear all the wraps and ice packs

Allow yourself to act disabled and you'll see that it helps you a whole lot when you allow yourself to use any and all tools

learning to accept lost abilities is a part of chronic illness. i am still at war with my own internalized ableism, but i am learning and growing every day. and one day, i know that i will be happy. that's all i can ask for. 💜 [purple heart]

[video text transcription: "a part of chronic illness is mourning lost abilities. i've lost so much these past few years. but i've gained a lot too! one of the most important things i've learned is how to accept my limits. i hope to one day be able to continue doing dance and gymnastics, but right now i need time to heal. and that's okay (purple heart emoji). i will strive to be happy anyway. end transcription]
