“Hi, Dream!” Lucy responds, waving at the computer screen. One of her hands comes up to rest on George’s chin, and she squeezes. He bats her arm down, and she pouts up at him.

hi! i'm looking for a fic that had a lot of the dsmp cast as background characters. the gist is that dream, a human, moved into a new town that had a nightvale vibe. he really liked george who turned out to be a leviathan. the fic had a pretty high word count and a nsfw sequel that took place during christmas, or another part to the series that did. in one of the parts of the series george turned into a lizard and dream had to take care of him lol. thanks!

He’s been watching him with a curious expression as if he’s been transfixed by watching him think but hesitant to interrupt it. “I just want to be here.”

Through corn fields, deserts, and mountains, Dream and George take a train from Chicago to San Francisco as one last adventure before George graduates from university. It’s meant to just be fun, but things get a bit more complicated when there are feelings hanging in the air.
