Ok, I know you probably have this asked of you a lot but one thing that always stays on my mind after each re read of TTS is how H introduces L to his public life. I’ve sat there wondering so many times (especially after reading your extra writings) how, when, where it would play out and whilst imagining scenarios is entertaining I’ve always wanted to know how you picture them first appearing before the world?

oooohhh. that’s a really interesting question. and not one i think i’ve answered before? nor something i’ve thought about particularly.... when i think about them it’s always either before or after their relationship is announced to the world. that transition is not something i’ve clearly envisioned, either as i was writing, or even after when thinking about their shared future. but i can give it a go now! 

as always, these are just my today ramblings and aren’t meant to be official canon thoughts and if i write something here that contradicts something i’ve talked about before in relation to their future then oops. i don’t have all the asks i’ve ever answered about tts memorised hehe. so yeah, very much just a little thinking out loud type of exercise....

so my initial instinct is to think that it would take a while for harry to open up to the world about louis and their relationship. a lot of harry’s inner conflict in tts is this desire to be open about who he is and to have the things that he shares with his fans/the world be authentic but at the same time, he’s also struggling with this undeniable desire for privacy and to no longer be in this aquarium environment, glass walls everywhere, eyes everywhere, etc... so i think it would take him a little while to find the balance between those conflicting ideas within himself. and to decide how he wants to approach a public relationship that is real for the first time. 

i def. think that he would come out, without mentioning his relationship or introducing louis to the world, first. just as a step for himself. i actually think he probably does it right after the fic ends, somewhere in his new album promo cycle. i envision it as maybe he does like... one in-depth interview to promote the album and a few performances and that’s it, yk? something really lowkey. since he’s asked to be able to do this on a smaller scale for his mental health. and yeah, i think he would be as candid as possible in that one interview, talking both about his sexuality and his struggles with substance abuse, but since the relationship with louis is still very fresh, i don’t think he would touch on that yet. 

i do think he would talk about going somewhere isolated (without saying where) and meeting a really important friend whose support was crucial to him figuring out he still wants to be in the industry. so he would mention louis in a roundabout way but without saying anything re: the true nature of their relationship. of course, a lot of the album is filled with love songs so i think that would potentially invite some speculation and assumptions.

somewhere between the whirlwind of his new album and his new tour, they’d meet each other’s family and the relationship would get more and more serious. and harry would officially ‘move in’ the lighthouse when it’s the offseason and he’s not working. 

there’s a part of me that’s like... maybe they don’t tell anybody until like.... years later and they’re married and everything. like... not necessarily a ‘secret relationship’ but a super lowkey one. like.. harry doesn’t post about louis on social media or talk about him in interviews or anything like that. maybe it’s just known and understood that he’s in a committed relationship with someone not in the industry and that’s that. but that’s a bit boring. actually, the best way this would work is if it’s revealed super dramatically at an award show. like maybe louis sits with harry & his team at the grammys and no one knows who he is until harry wins and kisses him in front of everybody before thanking his husband in his speech and everyone is like /????????? SINCE WHEN ???????? and then there is an EXPLOSION of interest re: the b&b and their social media accounts, which louis runs half reluctantly with inputs from h & his sisters. unfortunately for him there ARE pictures of him on the website and IG so everyone pieces it together like little sherlock holmes and they all realise that’s the place harry went to find himself again and he found love there too. 

they’re booked for a solid year after that which louis HATES because he knows it’s just people wanting to meet harry and he doesn’t want his privacy and safety compromised. harry lowkey thinks it’s kind of hilarious because while YES he values his privacy more than anything, he does thrive on chaos. part of me thinks he’d schedule a mini-tour for their busiest season JUST to be a nuisance, but he’d never leave louis to deal with the extra work and the fallout alone. 

if we don’t go the dramatic route, then i’d think it would be super super lowkey. once he’s ready, h starts mentioning his partner in interviews and maybe sometimes louis shows up on harry’s ig and vice versa without it ever being a really big deal or an announcement or anything yk? just them living their lives and sharing what they’re comfortable with when they’re comfortable. 

i don’t know if that’s what you wanted/pictured, but that’s where i’m at today re: tts!hl and their public relationship <3

hi I’ve been trying some new things. Tried to develop an easier and more comfortable art style just for fanarts and stuffs like that. Because my usual style is a little bit more complicated and it seems just not fit into most of the fanarts I’ve done so far. And most importantly I found it very exhausting to do any comics in that style lol. So probably I’d just save that for my original arts only.

So...let’s get to the point. im shipping real hard for Aether and Venti O.o I am pretty new to the genshin fandom...but are they a rare ship actually? I’ve seen a lot of other ships going on, but there are not too much Aether and Venti materials out there. I don’t know if they have a ship name or not :\ Please anyone let me know if you like this ship too.

Here’s a short clip that made no sense. It’s more like an experimental practice I think. Just testing out the art style and colors. I am no expert in any sort of comics drawing and my anatomy knowledge really sucks:’) But here I am, pushing myself to practice more and try more new things, so I can do better in the future. (btw English is not my native language, so if you think the lines/conversations in the comics are a bit “stiff”, then you know why:’))

Hogsmeade Weekend + Drarry

• The two of them were already pretty close friends, so it wouldn't be too awkward.

• Harry just didn't know how to tell Draco it'd be just the two of them; no Ron or Hermione.

• 'Harry, trust me, he wouldn't mind.'

• 'But what if he does, 'Mione?!'

• 'Tell him Hermione and I are going on a date.'

• 'Ronald!'

• Harry does manage to ask him (a day before the Hogsmeade weekend)

• Draco says yes, obviously, and they go together.

• It was easy for them to talk, and drink Butterbeer, and steal each others candy, and drink a little Firewhisky, and act like a couple.

• They got back late, laughing and slightly tipsy, but they quieted down once they entered the castle.

• Draco didn't remember when they'd exchanged scarves, but the Slytherin scarf made Harry's eyes appear brighter. He'd never admit Harry looked good in it, though.

• 'Thanks for today.' Draco whispered, smiling freely as he started walking away backwards. 'I ought to get back before Filch catches us.'

• Why is his smile so cute-'No problem, Draco. Best date I've ever been on.'

• Draco stopped and looked at Harry in confusion.

• 'Wait- that was a date?'

• Harry had not meant to say that out loud- but too late now.

• 'I mean... it could be. If you want it to be. Totally fine if you don't! It's not like I like you- no, wait, I don't not like you-'

• Harry stopped himself before he could continue rambling, and Draco laughed.

• 'Hogsmeade as a first date? Really, Potter? No, that wasn't a date. I'll take you somewhere better. Tomorrow.' Harry could have sworn that his heart stopped for a second.

• 'So you don't mind going on a date with me?'

• 'Honestly, Potter.' Draco laughed again. Harry found that he liked this carefree Draco as well. 'The only one who hasn't noticed my crush on you, is you.'

• Draco winked and walked to his common room, while Harry stood like a statue for the next minute.

• When he got back to the common room, he was surprised to see Hermione and Ron awake.

• 'So, how was the date, mate?' Ron asked him the second he entered.

• 'Ron! He means, how was hanging out with Draco?'

• 'I've got a date tomorrow.'

• 'Bloody hell! Harry got a date faster than me!' 'It's not my fault you took years to ask, Ronald.' 'Harry took years to confess to Draco!' 'Hey!'

• The date the next day turned out to be the first of many.

i’ve decided to set this within the lighthouse au universe because i’m in a mood so here’s a little drabble set sometimes post fic but before hl get engaged/married. 

“I gotta go,” Harry says with a giggle when Louis traps him against the cottage’s front door that morning. He scrambles for the handle clumsily, his belly pressed against the door, Louis’ weight heavy on his back. 

“Nope,” Louis replies, quickly reaching for Harry’s long fingers, grabbing his hand and stopping his escape. 

Harry huffs loudly as he tries to wiggle away, pretending to be annoyed. He can’t fully commit to it though and soon enough he’s laughing again. “I’m gonna miss the ferry.” 

“Good,” Louis lies, reaching up with teasing fingers to grab at the collar of Harry’s tee, dragging it down to expose his neck and biting playfully into it. 

“Next one’s not for a few days. Can’t miss the beginning of tour because my boyfriend’s horny!” 

“Why not,” Louis mumbles playfully into Harry’s neck. 

“Lou,” Harry sighs and Louis exhales too, taking a step back, allowing enough space for Harry to turn around and face him. 

He looks cute and perfectly dishevelled in the early summer light and it’s not fair that he has to go away for months now, just pick up the suitcases scattered across the entryway and leave Louis here to deal with the busy season. 

They planned it this way of course, so that Louis would be busy during the first leg of the tour, when Harry’s off being a big deal in America. He’s going to visit Harry at some point, Louis knows that. In only a couple of months too. Barely any time at all. Not to mention that he’s probably going to be dragged along the entirety of the European leg if Harry has his way. It’s barely goodbye. 

But Louis’ heart squeezes painfully in his chest as he sees the soft way Harry is looking at him as he reaches for his waist, dragging him into a fierce embrace, pressing a kiss on his forehead. 

“I’m gonna miss you,” Harry admits against Louis’ skin. “So much.” 

“You better!” Louis teases into Harry’s neck. “And you better write home all the time.” 

“One postcard per city,” Harry promises, sliding a finger against the skin between Louis’ tank top and his jeans in a slow caress.

Louis nods into Harry’s shoulder, the ball lodged in his throat too big for him to speak. 

“I really have to go.” 

He says so reluctantly like he’s saying ‘I don’t ever want to leave you at all’ and that makes it a little better, Louis thinks distantly, to know that this is hard on both of them, that he’s not going to be the pining spouse crying at home while Harry has the time of his life. That even though they’ll both have a great summer, they’ll be leaving a part of themselves behind, cradled in their lover’s palm while they’re apart. 

Louis sighs instead of replying, untangling himself from Harry’s body, holding on to his tiny waist, fingers grasping at the belt loops of his jeans. When their eyes meet, he smiles, eyes crinkling. “Go forth and conquer the world baby,” he says solemnly, warmth spreading through his lower belly when it makes Harry cackle. 

“Okay,” Harry agrees before leaning forward to kiss him one last time. 

They make it to the docks with thirty seconds to spare, the ferry’s captain shaking his head as they arrive out of breath, arms full of suitcases and bags, Clifford happily bouncing next to them. 

Once Louis has helped Harry get all of his luggage on board, the captain shakes his head at them. 

“We got no time for your sappy stuff Tomlinson,” he groans exaggeratedly while clapping Louis on his back. “I’m already running late because of this guy,” he adds, pointing at Harry over his should with his thumb before turning around and climbing into his boat. 

Harry smiles at Louis sheepishly, reaching for his hand and pressing a small kiss to the palm of it. “See you soon,” he promises.
