Corruptober Day 4: Engrossed

I’ve been coloring a lot more while watching tv. It keeps my hands busy and leaves my mind able to process the show better. This one piece took me about 4 episodes of The Walking Dead.
A work in progress
I was hoping to do more art over break, but have just now recovered enough to sit at my desk for long enough. Not COVID as I initially feared, but some other respiratory thing got me. Not that the people from urgent care told me what it was, just sent me straight off to the pharmacy. I can mostly breathe now though, si that’s much improvement.
It’s difficult to do space colors in colored pencils. Especially when you cannot think about colors. But this is what I got for today.

Running from hunters, the child stumbles across a party. She hides behind stacks of gifts and tries to shut out the sounds of bullets ripping through the humans. She silences her cries and hides her face from the destruction. Holding her breath, she waits for the hunters to move on.

“Well.. you asked for some way to get him to stop touching you. The only thing he can do from the grave is haunt you.”
“This will kill him?!” She gasped and nearly dropped the bottle.
“Yes. And he will never touch you or your daughter again.”
