I love drawing eyes, you can express so much, or interlock it with another drawing. And it’s just fun. I can never get two eyes to match though... that I really need to work on.
I had intended on coloring the flowers themselves, likely with silver, but I absolutely love how they turned out in just black and white. It’s rare that I actually like my own art, let alone to adore something like this. I really need to get back into using my pens and markers. So much fun, and it looks so clean..!
I’ve been coloring a lot more while watching tv. It keeps my hands busy and leaves my mind able to process the show better. This one piece took me about 4 episodes of The Walking Dead.

Running from hunters, the child stumbles across a party. She hides behind stacks of gifts and tries to shut out the sounds of bullets ripping through the humans. She silences her cries and hides her face from the destruction. Holding her breath, she waits for the hunters to move on.
The last two paintings for this Christmas that I am in charge of. A Snoopy for my best friend. And an R2-Deer-2 for my older brother. It’s late, I’m exhausted, but I hope they enjoy their shirts and paintings.
