do not get me wrong , i dislike the og lusttale as much as the next person , but people who hate remakes of it genuinely confuse me .

usually their reasoning is something like " the au itself was weird . its bad to remake something that was already bad ! ! just leave it . "

that take would make sense if they didnt like other aus ( and their remakes ) that had similar things going on , which most of the time they do . my friend made a list of some examples for me , but i am so positive that there are more .

Do you think their favorite puzzles were left in the ways they last solved them, whether or not their configurations were correct? Do you think the first child that fell into the ruins afterwards found that old chest of toys dusty, or do you think Toriel lovingly cleaned them every day and night? Do you think that for a time, she stopped baking because she couldn't bare to smell their favorite sweets? Or do you think that she threw herself into every hobby she had to drown out the silence?
