While I can appreciate the struggle and ambitions of the present day Autobots and fully understand that present-day Decepticons have abandoned their faction’s initial values, whatever the continuity in particular may have made them, I still find the initial premise of the Decepticon cause in most series to be one so noble that I don’t believe it is worth abandoning despite the way it has degraded over time”
