even if you can't feel your deities, they are still here, and they still love you.
☀️Deities☀️
I see so many people criticizing others over their relationships, or lack thereof, with their deities, so here are some reminders:
Not having deities is okay.
Having just a devotional relationship with your deities is okay.
Having a working relationship with your deities is okay.
Playing games with your deities is okay.
Harmless jokes with your deities are okay.
Doing fun things with your deities is okay.
Doing devotional offerings for your deities is okay.
Giving physical offerings to your deities is okay.
Not being able to do certain offerings for deities is okay.
Having an altar for your deities is okay, no matter the size.
Not having an altar for your deities is okay.
Laughing with your deities is okay.
Crying with your deities is okay.
Having genuine conversations with your deities is okay.
Being unable to hear/see deities is okay.
Being able to hear/see deities is okay.
Not being able to communicate through divination is okay.
Using divination as a key element in communication is okay.
Not calling on deities during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities to help during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities for help in general is okay.
This is your relationship with your deities in your practice. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. 🫶
It's 2am, please forgive me if there are any mistakes!
please i hate going to helpol blogs, only to see random queerphobic sentiment of any kind.
please reblog if;
you love your trans brothers, sisters, and siblings
you support aces and aros
you support 'weird' and 'contradictory' labels [i.e. lesboy/turigirl/etc]
you support mspec lesbians and gays
you support multigender folks
you support agender folks
you support all nonbinary & genderqueer identities
you support neopronouns and xenogenders
you support microlabels
i don't like to talk about my specific identity, but i personally use contradictory labels! i contain multitudes and that's wonderful!
we don't gatekeep the queers here.
unfollow if you feel differently
When things get bad or gets me to a point of almost crying, all I can do is go and sit in front of Hades’s altar. I don’t even think sometimes he even realizes how much I adore him. Hail Hades! 🖤
the gods understand your disabilities, mental health, and neurodiversities.
they understand if your physical disabilities, mental or physical, prevent you from being able to go outside.
they understand you even when you cannot articulate what you mean during prayer or cannot find the words to express gratitude and love.
they understand if you can't spend much time or stand still at their altars.
they understand if executive dysfunction keeps you from making offerings or doing a lot of active practice.
they understand if you have to take breaks and hiatuses from practicing to focus on yourself and your mental or physical health.
they understand if you lose focus during meditation/trance work or cannot do it to begin with.
they understand you and are with you when you cannot get out of bed for mental or physical reasons.
they understand you and are with you during times when you cannot care for yourself or love yourself.
the gods will always understand, love, and accept us for who we are. we are all valid, and we are seen and heard by the gods, even when it feels as if we are alone. 💙
Your offering is good enough.
Your prayer is perfect the way it is
Your altar does not have to be extravagant or expensive. Simple ones are just as powerful.
You are good enough. The gods love you and want the best for you. They are here to lift us up, so don’t beat yourself down.
As an autist sometimes the Gods are more easy to communicate with than people. I constantly have the autistic fear of people misinterpreting my words and that just doesn’t exist with them.
Me after rambling about something: sorry, I’m not quite sure how to explain that, I hope you know what I mean
Hermes, the literal God of language: I understand what you mean, it’s okay.
Me, still trying to explain: I just want to make sure you’re not getting the wrong idea
Hermes: Dude, I know what you mean. I always know what you mean. I don’t apply hidden subtext to your words because I know that’s not your intention. I’m not a human.
Me: I’m just nervous I’m coming across wrong
Hermes: oh you poor traumatized child. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN.
Well, I am hardly an expert, but I can point you in the direction of others who are!

I love all of you and we are not going to give up, and we are not going to abandon each other. We're going to take each other's hands and squeeze as hard as we can and never let go. We hold each other. We carry each other.
We worship deathless gods, who held their worshippers through the falls of countless empires, though colonization, through the destruction of their festivals and temples, through the raging cruelties of oppression and war. We are not alone. We will survive. Take my hand. This is not the end.
What my deities see on a daily basis (I’d say several times a day and I’m beyond happy they tolerate me ) 😄
