She needs permanent treatment, medicines, detergents, diapers, and special food. Kidney disease is a chronic disease to escape dialysis. I have no ability to buy her needs. I am tormented by staying in the hospital permanently. The kidneys evade potassium and air. A dangerous element that leads to death and cardiac arrest

I have been living with an early awareness since her birth of the inevitability of death from this disease, accompanied by the fear of waking up to losing her and losing her life. My little girl is certain that she is heading towards death in the absence of treatment possibilities and the availability of her requirements and that the expected end of her illness journey. I ask God for everyone who helps me not to complain of pain. Sickness, you do not know it. When sickness visits you, the world becomes smaller before your eyes, and all your wishes become insignificant in the face of health, and to see your child playing and enjoying good health. I am Tareq, the eldest son in my family, writing to you today from Deir al-Balah, South Gaza. We are currently living in a shelter provided by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency), but the conditions here are extremely difficult. Our lives are constantly at risk, with the threat of airstrikes and destruction surrounding us at all times.

This shelter is no longer enough to ensure our safety. We urgently need to leave Gaza for a safe place, away from the constant threat of bombings and destruction. This is our goal right now—escaping these dire circumstances and finding a place that offers us hope for a new life.

In Gaza, where life is harsh and conditions are tough, we cling to any glimpse of hope that restores a taste of happiness. Amid our daily struggles with cold and hunger, I received news that changed my life and brought a mix of joy and fear. My wife, my partner in this ongoing battle, is pregnant!

When she told me, I felt a whirlwind of emotions. There was overwhelming happiness—a new child will come to fill our lives with fresh hope. His small laughs might ease the weight of our pain. At the same time, fear gripped me. How can I protect this new life? How can I provide a decent life for him when I can barely shield my other children?

Every night, I sit next to my wife, watching her belly grow, imagining this child. I see him laughing, playing, calling me "Dad." Yet, amidst these beautiful images, reality reminds me of my struggles: our tent battered by the wind, rain seeping through, and the cold freezing us to the bone. What kind of beginning will this child have in such a harsh world?

Despite everything, I decided to hold on to hope. My children see me as their pillar of strength, and my wife needs my support now more than ever. I try to appear strong for them, but inside, I am searching for a helping hand, a beacon of hope that assures me tomorrow will be better.

That is why I reach out to you today—to those with compassionate hearts, to those who believe humanity knows no borders. We need your help to welcome this new child. We need a tent to shelter us, warm clothes to protect us from the cold, and food to nourish our bodies, weary from hunger.
