Hey everyone! If you're wondering who that is well that's me, the quiet guy behind the art work on this account. Thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself, I'm sure everyone is very excited 😏. Born in Portugal Lisbon and immigrated to Canada back in the 90s . . . Here is Composition #4, woodcut print of mount pleasant station in Ontario Canada. In case you’re interested a woodcut print is a design carved into a piece of wood then inked and pressed by hand or threw a press - this was done by hand. :) If you’re interested it’s available in my shop. ;)

The sign over the platform with the three primary colour shapes were purposely abstracted and added to the painting. I often add small details to a lot of my paintings with things that interest me. The primary colours are meant to show how to further simplify a concept down to a simplified colour palette.

Lawrence West Station #2 2019, Oil on Wood 11" x 14" I recommend checking this subway station if you get a chance to go to Toronto. The architect that designed this station designed quite a few of the stations in Toronto Canada. It has a really nice industrial vibe to it and the lighting that it gets during the summer is gorgeous.

Handmade woodcut print, its limited to 32 prints each one is numbered and signed by me :). The print is based on Union Station in Toronto Canada - it’s made by carving wood and inking it then adding pressure over the paper to transfer the ink to it.
