May was exhausting tbh. The constant change of temperature and a lot of travelling/ commuting did get to me and unfortunately this probably won't change in June. But I got a new plant friend for my desk! 🌿 And I also read the best book I've read this year, so far! 📖

29 July 2023- my abstract got accepted! i'm now working to turn it into a communicable paper, which involves going back and re-reading my sources on dramatic monologues and taking walks to locate pretty buildings as motivation (:

I don’t think this is regarded as fact, but it’s a pretty interesting story nonetheless.

The engineer responsible for the construction of Puente de San Martin realized that he had gravely miscalculated the weight that the bridge could bear. After confiding in his wife, she set fire to the beams of the bridge during a heavy thunderstorm, so no one thought too much of it the day after. The engineer was saved from total humiliation and got another chance to build the bridge with the correct calculations. 

Now if that’s not true love, I’m not sure what is.

✴️ 30.06.2023 // I attended a meeting in which professionals of oncogenetic from different cities discussed the classification of some VUS - Variants of Unknown Signification - from class 1 : benign to class 5 : pathogenic. Each attendee presented their variants, their results and asked for the view of the others.

Although complicated to understand, it was pretty interesting! I took some notes and I have some researches to do now ahah🩷
