yeah we've all seen the "would you fall in love with me again" edits with stobotnik where stone is penelope loving robotnik unconditionally BUT have you considered. stone as odysseus and robotnik as penelope. wherein stone takes up robotnik's legacy under the presumption that he's died. he wears scraps of robotnik's uniforms, eyebags more pronounced. he works tirelessly and vindictively against those who've hurt robotnik all these years. and then robotnik is actually alive and comes back and sees stone has changed so much. would he love him still the same? (of course he would)
Very interesting advancement note that I’m obviously not the first to comment on but
The wording is ‘rescue’ a Ghast from the Nether, and bring it ‘safely home’. Which has always been the idea of, are Ghasts from the Nether? Was the Nether always like this; and are they so miserable because they were forced to adapt to a ruined fiery hellscape? Well, now we know that presumably when young especially, they’re liable to dry out. That if they’re rescued from being dried, they thrive in a more earthly environment. That they grow up happy when doing so. I do think that Ghasts may be from the Nether, but not from the current Nether. A much colder one, maybe more like the Overworld, maybe not. Probably a cavernous fungal paradise if I had to guess. But now they live in a world that’s been ruined by something, and turned into the human embodiment of hell, forced to spit fire just to no longer be filled with it when they’d much rather eat snow to cool down. Is it any wonder they cry?
you're cute so i'm downloading you

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HLVRAI ‼️‼️‼️ 🎉🎉💥💥💥 what weird freaks . oh how i love them i managed something woo
Stone being just as competent as Robotnik is so important to me. He took over the Mean Bean by himself, he's a badass on a motorcycle, he singlehandedly rescued Robotnik in the aftermath of sonic 2, he took down a bunch of badniks in a few seconds. Stone could easily be his own boss and do his own thing, or demand that Robotnik treat him more as an equal rather than a subordinate but he doesn't. He's completely fine with being a henchman and even takes pride in it. I think it just emphasizes how much he loves Robotnik. He doesn't need to stay with him because its the closest he'll get to power, he's skilled enough on his own to do villain stuff if he wanted, he needs to stay because he loves him and Robotnik needs him. this is all stuff we already knew but i think it'd be less powerful if Stone was the typical dumb henchman stereotype. he is just as deserving of power as Robotnik is but he chooses to take a step back, to let him have the spotlight, to let him feel safer in a position of power, to just help Robotnik achieve his goals and his dreams. im never getting over these two am i?
Happy Sonic Movie 3 trailer day everybody!!
