Need Him Died

so this was originally in a post i made that was kind of negative but i decided NO, actually, that is not a productive or helpful or necessary thing to say, so i want to air out some thoughts about serirei and how it might work in my mind, bc it's good actually:

serizawa says himself that he's never been interested in any girls growing up. He doesn't know anything about romance and hasn't really cared to know for most of his life, evidently. There's a lot of interpretations you can pull from that (is he gay? is he ace/aro? was he just isolated from society for so long that he just never has had that kind of interaction with anyone?), but i guess the point is, if serizawa found himself having those feelings, there'd be this huge learning curve for him about what to do about them and how to navigate such a relationship (relatable, serizawa)

reigen on the other hand....he doesn't really say at all whether or not he personally has been interested in anyone, but he DOES say that he would probably do some kind of ridiculous bullshit if he were in mob's position (i would personally LOVE to see how that would play out, the idea of him getting flustered and acting really stupid and overconfident to impress his crush sounds adorable). I assume that he ALSO doesn't really know what to do in a romantic context, though knowing reigen, he'd certainly try to act like he does (he does pull straight from the internet on his phone to give advice when mob asks him what to do)

Considering all that, though.... neither of them know what tf they're doing, they respond to this lack of experience in very different ways, but they gotta figure it out somehow. Like, I'm thinking reigen makes a lot of the first moves, seeming super confident and experienced at first blush, but a perceptive person would be able to tell that he has no clue what he's doing; serizawa has absolutely NO IDEA how to respond to his advances. he's flustered and frozen in place and so, SO nervous and he's like "oh my god what am i feeling right now?? is this what people were talking about this whole time?? wtf do i do???"

So i loved comic 7,,,,,,,,, i need someone to immediately start working on a post-canon fic PRONTO!!! i want to learn more about their families,,,,,,,,,,, their kids were so precious i absolutely adore them i want to hear what dumb 7-year old shenanigans they get up to (i assume they’re 7-10)
