So I probably shouldn't be giving this any of my attention because the argument was so horrifically flawed but there was a post I saw yesterday. To be specific it was an anti-bkdk rant turned into an anti-internet rant because of how the internet has made us believe bkdk isn't toxic.

Long story short, what they said literally isn't any different than what bkdk antis normally say whenever they talk about how bkdk is supposedly toxic. The only difference is that it was sugarcoated and made to sound sophisticated.

Here's what I picked out of their argument (here's a hint: you won't be shocked):

• They assume that bakudekus/bakugo stans excuse Bakugo's behavior and believe that telling people to off themselves is okay, which we literally never did.

• They appear to not be aware of the fact that there are people who have gotten bullied themselves who like BakuDeku and use it as a coping mechanism for their own experiences. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they do know, just don't care and are convinced there's something wrong with the people who've gotten bullied that aren't bothered by it.

• Treats everyone who likes BakuDeku like children who can't read.

• Calls Bakugo's behavior abusive and ableist when 1. He is not Endeavor and 2. Izuku being quirkless wasn't even the core root of the problem.

• Completely ignores the reason and explanation for why Bakugo acted the way he did AKA it's not that he was quirkless (so not quirkless discrimination) it was just that Bakugo felt as if Izuku was farther ahead than him. Taking into consideration his inferiority complex, which was brought on by the pressure to be the best it's easy (or at least should be) to see why he would eventually have this view of things. It really shouldn't be that hard to understand.

• Says Bakugo bullied Izuku for 10 years when it's literally been said that he actually tried to avoid Izuku most of the time. So his bullying wasn't a constant or consecutive thing like most people make it out to be.

• Can't accept the fact Izuku will never hate Bakugo for what he did. Izuku is by nature just that kind and forgiving so even if they personally believe Bakugo can't be forgiven, it is still up to Izuku at the end of the day. As an add on: Although this seems unrealistic in the real world, it's actually not. Everyone is different and so not everyone will feel/react the same way to their experiences. Someone could struggle to forgive while it could come easily to someone else.

• Believes that because two people had a rough patch means they can never make up.

• Enemies to Lovers/Rivals to Lovers will literally always be called Abusive and Toxic no matter what.

• Bakugo will always be made out to be Antagonistic and a Bad person no matter what.

• Believes that Bakugo and Endeavor are one and the same when Bakugo was a School Bully and Endeavor was an Abusive Parent. The two don't equal one another and should never be compared. It is true that Bakugo could've ended up like Endeavor but the distinction is that he did not.

• Believes people cannot change and that you can't grow from your mistakes.

• Ignores that Bakugo hates himself for what he did and knows he will have to live with those mistakes for the rest of his life. It's adding insult to injury to continue talking about it and acting as if he's still a Bully.

• Ignores that Bakugo apologized to Izuku in front of the WHOLE CLASS and said that he didn't expect his apology to change anything between them.

• Is stuck in the past and can't move past Episode 1, which is also insulting to Horikoshi and his writing.

As a disclaimer (even though I really shouldn't have to say this), I am NOT excusing Bakugo's behavior by saying this. I'm just really fucking tired of people saying he's still the same person he was in Season 1.

tldr: There was absolutely nothing new in this argument and it was the same old points antis have always used in order to "prove" that bkdk is toxic.
