A Facebook post from the Wild West Rehabilitation Center reading "Only in Texas and maybe Mexico. This evening, we were contacted about a possible orphaned Barn Owl. Rehabber Christy managed the call and inquired if they had already placed it in a box, to which they responded “we wrapped him in a warm tortilla”. There was a significant silence on Christy’s side. Following this and a little concerned, she quickly ended the call and arranged for a transporter. Rehabber Amee arrived at the location and was welcomed by a friendly family holding a baby Mississippi Kite wrapped in a tortilla. While barbecuing and swimming, the family noticed the baby bird on the ground without any parents nearby. Concerned about the baby feeling cold, the mother asked for a tortilla to be warmed up on the grill to provide heat for it. Undoubtedly, it was an inventive method to keep the baby warm, and surprisingly, it was effective. The hatchling is currently en route back to the facility. Wildlife Rescue is always filled with lively and unexpected moments. #wildliferescue #weloveourcommunity #compassionisbeautiful #thatsawrap"

enterprise bridge crew in the style of animal crossing. spock is a green cat with light purple eyeshadow holding his arms behind his back. bones is a squirrel with blue inner ears and a blue and white swirl on his tail, posing with his arms crossed. scotty is a grey hamster with dark hair, white eyebrows, and dark grey snout, carrying a glass of alcohol. chekov is a brown bear with his hands on his hips and a parted in the middle haircut. uhura is a pink elephant with green earings, her usual haircut, fishnets, light purple eyeshadow and nails, her arms are in front of her like she’s dancing. Sulu is a japanese green pheasant with his usual haircut and one wing raised. They are all wearing their usual uniform shirts (spock the only one wearing the pants).

Squirrel bones is wearing a light blue lab coat over a dark blue checkered pattern vest with a light pink button down underneath, he also has a stethoscope and black framed glasses. Cat spock is wearing a maid outfit and maid shoes. Jim is an animal crossing player character using his usual uniform and holding a net, there are two butterflies next to him. Hamster Scotty is asleep next to a bottle of alcohol and a mostly empty glass, he is resting his head on his arms and is wearing striped pink pajamas set with a similarly patterned night cap. Bear chekov is wearing a yellow jacket with grey sleeves and blue accents, he has his arms in his jacket pockets and is looking to the side angrily. Elephant uhura has a pink beanie with a white pompom, covering most of her hair except for the bangs, she has strawberry earrings and a white sweater over a red dress overalls and pink shoes the same color as her hat.

Squirell bones is angrily pointing a hand towards jim (who is carrying a net). The dialogue box in the style of animal crossing covered half their body and said “there’s no way spock can be..that..that..IRRITATING! He must’ve taken classes. Behind them are two tires a cherry blossom tree and mabel’s clothes shop. The whole thing is drawn like a scene from the game.

Jim is carrying a sleeping khan with a fishing pole behind him, the dialogue box in front of him says: “I caught a 200 year old dictator! What could possibly go wrong.” They are standing on the beach during a rainy day, a large rock can be seen beside Jimmy and behind them are orange flowers, a rock with a snail on it, a pine tree, and an apple tree.

Seen a couple posts on the dashboard lately about writing with ADHD. So, for the ADHD and neurodivergent folks who like writing but struggle sometimes… check out StimuWrite.

You can set it to make little sounds as you type (or leave them off), and emojis pop up in the corner. You can change the background, dark and light themes, set your word goal, and it gives you a percentage and total word count at the bottom. Though it’s more meant for getting a draft written up, so it doesn’t have spell check or anything like that. You’re meant to just copy and past what you write here into Google Docs or Word or Scrivener or whatever else you use and go from there. Honestly love it when I’m struggling to get words down, though. And apparently there’s an update now for StimuWrite 2?👀

Anyways, give it a try if it looks like it may help. It’s currently name-your-own-price.
