i’m seeing a lot of people reblogging suicide hotlines and this is just a reminder that this is a suicide help line that works like a text-based instant messenger for people who may need to talk to someone but have trouble/are uncomfortable making phone calls
I see on youtube shorts a lot these guys trying to troll college students
"what is a woman?"
Anybody that ID's as one ✌🏽
"but-"
No. This isn't about what you think, this isn't about your pseudo biology lessons. Hell this isn't even a gender thing either.
It's being polite. Its being respectful to your fellow human being. You respect what someone asks you to call them. You respect peoples pronouns even if you think its ridiculous like neopronouns.
Because we live in a society. You are expected to behave appropriately.
So if someone says they're a woman, that's it.
I like to fuck around and waste time for at least ~6-10 hours per day, and let me tell you, that really puts some pressure on your schedule. you have no idea how busy I am
I love y’all
Can you please elaborate on the Stephen Colbert RPF thing. This is a judgment free zone I’m just deathly curious
Ah yes well you see Stephen Colbert used to play a parody of a Fox News pundit on a show called The Colbert Report (American news satire program popular in the late 00s/early 10s). The character was explicitly a closeted gay man who was driven to conservatism due to his own insecurity/internalized homophobia. He had a homoerotic relationship with Jon Stewart whom he pretended to hate but had several romantic moments with.
When their shows ended they wrote a soft epilogue for their fictionalized selves where they retire to a cabin in the woods together and it’s implied they’re married now. The most beautiful self-written rpf of all time.
It was a beautiful slow burn self-written rpf that unfolded over, like, 10 years they worked together? It started as a joke but ended up being a genuine canon part of the fictionalized Stephen Colbert? I’m not joking.
fiber arts is really a laundering scheme for mathematics.
You can pay $0 to medications that cost $1000s by just applying to manufacturers’ websites!
When I initially relocated from Canada to the US and they told me that monthly cost of Xarelto (a type of blood thinner) is $550, and my thousands dollar a year student insurance only covered about $15/month, I was shocked.
Long story short, I googled lots of coupons and most of them didn’t work as promised.
I luckily came across with manufacturer’s coupon, which asked a few basic questions. Whether I could pay the medication without financial hardship (No), and name, address, insurance type. It than gave me a pdf card (they mailed a regular card later), with which I went to my pharmacy. The cashier at the pharmacy tried the card and told me that my total was $5. That was it! I didn’t pay a penny for the remaining 3 years.
Tl;dr: If your medication is expensive and your insurance isn’t very helpful, go to the manufacturer’s website for manufacturer’s coupons, which may bring the cost to $0.
