Hey all!

My favorite anime of all time, Futari wa Pretty Cure, is finally watchable on Crunchyroll. Yes, it was there before. But the quality was atrocious, so I'd always tell people to download the fansubs instead. Recently, though, it's gotten an upgrade so I can finally recommend the legal method as well!

As you can see, it's a pretty dramatic upgrade. It still uses the same subtitles as before (although in a newer, better font) but the visuals are vastly improved.

For completion's sake, here's the Arienai Fansubs version:

In other words, if you're looking for the absolute best quality for screenshots (and IMO a better translation) then the fansubs are still the way to go, but if you just want to sit down and watch the Precure season that started it all, you can now do that without having to suffer through what genuinely looked like a VHS rip!

Additional Info if you’re confused (if you haven’t watched the movie yet, don’t worry I won’t give any major spoilers):

Kumandra is the name of the land where the movie “Raya and the Last Dragon” takes place, hence the name of the AU. It’s separated into different tribes/regions as you can see here.

I planned out where each of the SEA countries would fit into what tribe to make things easier (mostly based on their personalities and locations). I know that all of these tribes have combined all the aspects and cultures of the South East Asian countries all together, and no specific country is referenced in each tribe. I did this just for fun!
