Hi, first of all, I'm having some trouble with writing ✨The Pellerin-Guillaume Lore✨so I might not post about them for idk how long, sorry :'(
And, second of all, I'm starting a new story, again– it's going to be called "Aloisia Chasterell and whoever the hell is this Louis or Alois or whatever their name is?!"
Basically, the plot is about Aloisia, a descendant of Claus Chasterell, an influential poet, playwright and actor from the 19th century, who just realized that a lot of her family member's name was just a variant of the name Louis. Who is this Louis the Chasterells' named their children after, and what did they do for that to happen?
(yes, Aloisia's pronouns are she/they.Also this story is set in a fictional place and the characters written as historical figures are fictional)
✨When Sunflowers change to Green Carnations info✨
» Colin's full name is Colin Gryngrasse! (Yes I know it's weird) The Gryngrasses were a rich aristocrat family.
» Lewis's full name is Lewis Percival Peverell (Oh look, even weirder).
» Colin used to be married to Eloise Harton, but turns out they're both stuck in a lavender marriage (basically, a lavender marriage is when two non-straight individuals of the opposite gender was married off to each other in order to protect their reputation or other reasons) so they split up.
» Lewis is a doctor with quite a good reputation. He treated a lot of upper class people, including Colin Gryngrasse.
» Lewis also became Colin's confidant after Colin accidentally told too much to him. He was able to gain his trust, and never told anyone.
» Colin is a poet, an actor, and a wine connoisseur (wow so random)
» I originally intended Eloise to be the antagonist, but I was like, nah
» Lewis's middle name was originally William
Edit: sometimes there's only one non-straight individual in a lavender marriage while the other is straight!
Welp, he looks pretty decent I guess... Anyways, here's my The Arcana mc in Julian's upright ending hehe
Please note that there are actually more humanity crisis situations happening about the world.
Since it's already June 16th on my country, so.. happy birthday to me!
He looks.. okay, I guess. Definitely not historically accurate, but it still kinda resembles the real thing :P
(A portrait of Claus Chasterell, A. Vilhelm, 1822)
Claus Chasterell (1783-1852) was a poet, playwright, and actor. Born to a working-class household, he found his luck on winter 1803, having Duchess Isabel of Ellster as his patron. (He later became independent with no patronage)
In Ellster, he met a lot of people who ended up being relevant to his life, such as Norabella Oakley, an actress that he married, only for them to divorce on 1818 (although they still had a good relationship, it just wasn't romantic anymore), and Alois Vilhelm, an artist who used to work as Duchess Isabel's guard, who was also his lifelong friend.
He gained popularity from his play, "Snowstorm", a tragedy, and his wonderful acting only adds to his fame. Although it wasn't the only reason..
Claus was also a very handsome man himself. Lots of people would storm the backroom before his play (where he starred) began, or after it ends, just to see him, or get a strand of his hair, if they're lucky. Percival Chasterell, his son, recounts an event similar to what was described in the previous sentences:
"Those people, they were rushing to the backroom to meet my father. I still can hear their footsteps, until this very day. It turned to such a terrible situation that Mr. Vilhelm, who was accompanying me in the theatre, had to come out and calm down the crowd."
There were some speculations about Claus, such as a theory of him being attracted to men. It originated from a play of him, "The Knight and The Elven Bard", that subtly hinted at romance between two men, and the discovery of some letters to a male recipient which seems to match his handwriting only strengthened the theory.
Claus Chasterell passed away in his birth town, Ferncliff, in 21 March 1852.
It's kinda baffling how some people still think that the Pompeii eruption happened because of gay people lmaooo
Thinking about putting a self insert in my story.. hmmm..
