I figured out what I wanted to do as a thanks for 1k followers!

As you guys know, there is a variety of bands that make an appearance in the game. Many, actually, which means there are many band members competing in BOTB. As a thank you for the support (very overwhelming, did not expect this) I will be choosing three people to make an NPC of a band member in one of the bands: The Painkillers.

If you are picked:

You will create a member from scratch. Name, appearance, gender identity, pronouns, clothes they wear, and their personality (with some restrictions for story purposes.)

They will be featured in the game and interact with MC (and the ROs) and be a recurring band.

Just remember: Once you give me this character, I can do what I want with them. They are no longer yours, they're ours. If they become a villain or a terrible person or if your MC ends up hating them, do not kill me! I have author privilege aha. With that said, I won't promise any certain amount of on-page screen time. They will definitely be featured (of course) but do not kill me again x2 if they're not in it as much as you like. This is just for fun, yk!

The wind rustles as the lonely figure of the mage looks up at the moon from her perch. Being able to see the moon like this should be a blessing, no?

But… Maybe… Just maybe. She didn’t want to be there.

Maybe she wanted to finally rest. To fall into a deep slumber and drift in the darkness.

A single tear falls from her eye as she gazes at the moon. Sighing she looks down at her hands and clenches them.

“Leon…” she begins then bites her lip as another tear falls, “I… I’m so very tired.”

The mages eyes once a vibrant violet color are now dull and filled with despair and anxiety. “I can’t face you again, but how I want to…”

She closes her eyes as tears stream down her face and she whispers to the sky with a cracking voice, “I miss you- Damn it all. Why do I miss you so?”

Hi I just wanted to write some angst for myself and my OC from A Mage Reborn! I think she’s so very tired of living through this conflict that part of her was grateful for dying. She’s also very conflicted on her feelings for Leon. They loved each other, but she died by his hand. Yea she knows he had no choice, but part of her resents him. The other part misses him dearly and wishes to be held in his arms.

Anyways yeah I’ll probs write stuff for my own amusement so… BYE

As she lets her eyes wander over the equipment the singer hums a tune to herself. The notes grow sadder as her eyes slowly come to rest on her hands that lay on her lap. Looking at her ring finger she sees the ring her current boyfriend had gotten her to show that she’s “his”.

A bitter taste grew in her mouth as she looked at it. She didn’t want this. Why couldn’t she just end it with him. Why couldn’t she just speak up for once. Always gathering the nerve when it’s too late. Her eyes grew misty as her now broken humming came to an end.

She’s scared. She’s so scared to be left alone. There was someone in the past who helped to fill the void in her heart and put her worried at ease. She briefly recalls laughing with him, talking with him, and even sneaking kisses during practice.

A tear rolls down her cheek. Its been a year. Time to move on. Suddenly her band mate appears and says it’s time to go on stage but pauses seeing her face. Worriedly the band mate looks her over asking what’s wrong. The girl shakes her head and just says the nerves were getting to her.

Before her friend could say anything the girl hops up from her seat and stretches declaring it’s time for the show. Casting one last worried glance at her and nodding her friend leads her to the stage.

As she stares out at the crowd she takes a deep breath. ‘It’s time for me to be me,’she thinks to herself. As she starts singing her song along with the band she looks towards the crowd and then to the sky as it to say one last goodbye.

‘Bye-bye, Seven. I hope we both find what we’re looking for.’

As she starts belting out the last verse of the song along with the crowd she takes off her ring and tosses it into the sea of people. This makes her first step on her own path real.
