David Schillo, currently a resident of Clarksville, Tennessee, is an eighth-grade teacher at the Dickson County Public School in Dickson.
David Schillo was graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Computer science from Tsinghua University in China.
David Schillo was a volunteer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where he served as a camp counselor at Camp Carefree from 2008 to 2012. The camp has been giving a week of cost-free camping experience to children with chronic conditions m since 1986. The program involves camping experiences for the siblings and parents of children with chronic illnesses as well.
David Schillo has traveled to many areas across the globe, including the beautiful nation of Sweden. While studying abroad in this country for a year during college, David had the opportunity to see the northern lights, go dog sledding in the Arctic Circle, and visit the historical town of Stockholm.
David Schillo was a member of the U.S Army, where he served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Officer in South Korea.
David Schillo earned his undergraduate degree in health education and promotion, and his master’s degree in exercise sports science with a specialization in Adapted Physical education. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous community outreach programs. David Schillo enjoys working and volunteering with individuals who have developmental disabilities and works to design physical activity programs especially adapted to address individual physical disabilities.
David Schillo is a former employee of Opus Telecoms, where he worked as a database manager for six years.
