A lot of the cuckold blogs talk about the wife being a “slut” and having sex with lots of different men on a frequent basis. However, I think that is just pure fantasy. Our cuckold journey really began when my wife started occasionally meeting male friends for lunch, drinks or dinner. Sometimes these friendships would eventually include “benefits”, though not always. My wife and I had a busy full life with jobs, family and friends and other interests. Her male friends were usually married as well which meant they also had to juggle job, family, friends while maintaining discretion. The logistics of trying to juggle 2 people’s schedules while maintaining absolute discretion made it virtually impossible for her to meet, or even communicate, with any of her friends on a regular basis. This situation was also stressful for my wife. She worried about being caught by someone that knew her or that knew her male friend. In addition, having sex with another man after being a faithful wife for 20 years was stressful, especially if it was the first time she was been with that particular man. Eventually though, she met a guy that was single, but discreet, and they started dating on a frequent basis and after several months we began calling him her boyfriend. Dating the same guy for a long period allowed her to be more relaxed and really enjoy the relationship, including the sexual aspects. She felt free call or text him anytime and they could meet on a frequent basis without having to juggle so many things. In addition, the fact that they could meet at his home rather than a hotel was a huge plus. Her having steady boyfriend was probably the best thing that ever happened to our marriage. She dated him for almost 3 years until he got a promotion and job transfer to another city.

And the truth is -- you DO understand why she would want, and need, more than you can offer, so you're actually quite grateful that she has someone who can do for her what you're unable to.

That was more than a year ago, and now she spends so much time with him -- including all of every weekend and all holiday periods -- that there are now a lot of people they know who think that they are married. And recently you have heard her -- while she was talking with him on the phone, which they do every night when they're not together -- make reference to "starting a family" with him. It is now pretty obvious where their relationship, and where your relationship with her, is headed.
